[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

"Why did you go there?" Zira asked, rather accusingly, "That was stu--" she stopped herself. "What's your plan?"

Kopa glanced into the puddle of water, frowning as he realized he looked almost exactly like Kovu but with a bright red mane, auburn eyes, and golden fur. He gritted his teeth, looking back towards Chaka. "I'm nothing like him!" he spat.

Monstro looked down at Zira, "I know what I'm doing dear." he said softly. He looked do her, "I wanted to see Simba myself, now he knows I exist. Plus, it gives him something to wonder about." he said grinning slightly. "Curiosity Zira..curiosity.. he added laying to his stomach. He was tired and let a yawn escape his muzzle,he snapped his jowls closed making a loud cracking sound.

Nala watched the jungle area and waited to see her mother and father, she hoped they were okay. Her blue eyes lit up as she noticed them on the other side of the Pride lands and she smiled; they made it. She squinted her eyes noticing something in her mother's mouth and thought maybe it was her food. As they got closer to Pride rock, she got a better view of the dangling animal."Oh my.." she said softly meeting Sarafina and Shujaa at the base of the formation. "Mom...Dad.." she said nuzzling them. Her blue eyes fell down on the cub in Sarafina's mouth, "Whos this...?"

Sarafina rested Dyanna down on the soft grass and she nuzzled Nala, "Mheetu and Vitani are very good, they miss you." she said smiling. She reclined back to her haunches and pushed Dyanna forward with her paw, "This is Dyanna, she lost her mother and well. I brought her back here with us, plus we have the other cubs. Shes a smart cub Nala, very smart." she added. Sarafina looked around and their was no noise, "Where is everyone? Wheres my welcome back party?" she asked still spying around to see if the cubs were hiding on purpose.

Nala looked down at Dyanna,"Welcome to the Pride lands Dyanna, I'm Queen Nala." she said with a smile. "I'm sure you'll like it here.." Nala chuckled at Sarafina, "Well Simba named Kopa as heir to the throne, at first everyone as hurt. But Chaka and Kiara understand, so hopefully things go smooth." she said. "Simba took them for a walk around the lands, they should be back soon."

Dyanna's bright blue eyes looked up at Nala and she smiled, "Your a pretty Queen and thank you." she said softly. She stood to her paws and gazed out at the lush green lands and all the animals, "whoaa..." she mumbled.

Finally, Simba returned to Pride Rock with the cubs. Upon reaching the den, he looked at Nala. "Nala, there was a strange new lion in the Pridelands today," he stated.

Kiara noticed her Nana 'Rafi, Papa 'Jaa and a strange cub she's never seen before standing proud underneath her Nana. "Nana 'Rafi! Papa 'Jaa!" She ran and hugged there legs, then looked at the cub. "I'm Princess Kiara, what's your name?" Kiara smiled, making the new cub feel welcome.

Nala looked to Simba, "Lion? Well..was he dangerous?" she asked curiously. For a moment she forgot the return of her parents and looked to the cubs. "Look whos returned and with a new friend." she added nuzzling her cubs. She stepped back beside Simba and watched the cubs run to Sarafina, "They said Mheetu and Vitani were doing good. My mother brought a cub home with her, their our cubs age. I guess she had no mother. Well, you know how my mom gets." she added. She nuzzled Simba's mane, "Did the lion talk to you?"

Dyanna saw the cubs and stood between Sarafina's legs shyly, her bright blue eyes watched the three of them. "Sarafina..?" she questioned looking up.

Sarafina nuzzled Kopa, Chaka and Kiara, "How are you three doing? Did you miss me?" she asked with a smile. She nuzzled Kiara, "Look you three, I brought a new friend. Her name is Dyanna." she said pushing Dyana forward with her muzzle.

Dyanna stepped up to Kiara and smiled, "Hi Kiara, im Dyanna. Nice to meet a Princess!" she said with a smile.

Kopa was not far behind his sister. "I'm Prince Kopa," he introduced himself. "And this is my little brother, Prince Chaka. I'm going to be King one day!" he boasted.

"Yes, he spoke to me. His name was Monstro, and he had a little brown-furred cub with him. I don't know what he was doing here," Simba told Nala. He then looked at the others. "We'll need to be on the lookout for anything suspicious," he said.

"Your all Princes and Princesses? Wow, thats cool. Future King, your lucky." she said surprised. She bowed to them and stepped back to her hinds, "Its pretty over here, its different from my old home." she said with a smile.

Nala looked at Simba and nodded, "A cub? Hmm.." she muttered softly. She let the cubs chat and she motioned for her mother to join them away from the nosey cubs. "Where did he run off too?" she asked curiously.

Sarafina joined them in the group and listened, "Well maybe he was just passing through? But it is odd that we see a dark lioness and now a lion and a cub." she said softly. She watched the cubs chat and smiled, "I'm glad they're getting along with Dyanna. I hope you don't mind Simba? She lost her mother and she needed some guidance, shes actually a very smart cub and has some good tracker skills." she added.

Simba turned to Sarafina. "Of course I don't mind. It will be good for Kopa, Chaka and Kiara to have a friend, and for Kiara to have a female friend," he said. Returning his mind to the subject of the strange lion and the cub, he wanted to be sure that his family was safe. "Whatever he was doing, his presence made me uncomfortable," he said.
