Alma nuzzled up against Marrone, "Well I guess I wouldn't know Addana was your princess, my own daughter won't talk to me for anything just the casual good morning mother good night mother I'm doin ok mother." Alma saw the rain trickling down, "Marrone why doesnt Addana talk to me anymore as a cub she used to Nuzzle up against my leg and saying Love you mommy, once she turned into a teen she just stopped talking to me, I love her, but I guess she doesn't feel the same." Alma layed her head down on the ground facing away from Marrone and towards the stone wall. "But why," Alma said under her breath before closing her eyes and day dreaming about when her childeren were cubs and all was good no one cared who would be king or queen why would get the crowning flower.

Delano sat next to Tempesta, letting the rain drench his fur. He didn't care about the water. He was simply glad to be there with Tempesta and Jafar. "Well, not much has happened." he told is brother. "Nothing out of the usual until a little while ago. That was when Vitani and Mheetu came. Vitani is a princess from the Pridelands, and she's betrothed to Nyembe. Mheetu just her.. escort. He keeps her safe. But they assimilated into the pride, so the two of them can spend more time as they wish. Then again two Pridelanders came. Mheetu's parents, I think they were. Well, they came because Mufasa, a Pridelander king, had died recently. They left recently, and they took Tempesta's sister, Dyanna with them. To avoid the rainy season, you see. And then we met you." Delano summarized what Jafar had missed since he was away. "Unless I forgot something." He said, looking at Tempesta, who was looking away from him. That's funny.

Delano looked at Jafar again. His brother did gain a lot of bulk and muscle. This would be interesting. "So where have you been since you were away?" Delano asked.

Alma walked out of the den and sat near Delano Tempy and Jafar, "Welcome back Jafar. Where have you been all this time last time I saw you you were a tiny little cub with a tiny little tuft of mane on your head

Jafar smiled. "Well, I've just been traveling around this area. I've seen many great things and had a lot of fun," he explained.

Tempesta nodded to Delano, "Thats about the jist of it all.." she said softly. Her eyes glanced over at the Queen and she looked up at Delano and smiled, she stepped away from the group. She stepped out into the center of area where the canopy didn't cover and felt the cool rain wash over her, she inhaled the fresh smell. Closing her turquoise eyes a moment she thought of Dyanna, praying that she be kept safe. Her eyes fell down on the Pride and she realized something was upsetting the King, she stepped over to Nyembe. "How are you Nyembe?" she said with a soft smile.

Mheetu dosed off quietly in the den, from the soft sound of rain hitting the ground rapidly.

Marrone opened his mouth to speak and noticed Alma walk away he shook his head, he stepped to the edge of the den. His grey eyes watching each member, he hopped they would join together to survive this wet weather coming their way. He reclined back to his hinds, his mind still filled with thoughts and the sight of Addana's concerned face.

Alma nodded, "Well it's great to see you again," Alma stood up, "I'm off to comfort the king he seems stressed." Alma walked into the rain and walked towards the den, she shook her fur off in the den and then sat down next to Marrone, "So Marrone, what's going on with Addana?" Alma asked trying to get the kings mind off of Nyembe.

Delano decided not to follow Tempesta this time. "Well, Jafar. I guess that I'll go to bed then. Lots to do tomorrow." He left Jafar and went into his private den for the night. He smiled in satisfaction when he saw the dry floor of the den: it was able to hold the rain out. Delano didn't mind rain, but he would rather avoid sleeping in it if he could.

Laying down, Delano closed his eyes and went to sleep. With Jafar with them, there would be more things to do during the rainy season.

Jafar was feeling tired himself. He went to go find a place for himself to sleep in, preferably a dry place.

Marrone looked to Alma and he sighed exhausted, "Lets sleep Alma." he nuzzled her and scooped her close with his paw. He felt her shiver from her wet pelt and he used his body heat to warm her up. "Goodnight." he said softly.

Tempesta yawned herself and saw Delano leave to his den and she sighed watching him go. She stepped into the area Mheetu was sleeping in and found a dry spot to doze off in.

Next Day.

Weather:
The winds are strong today and are blowing debris all over the place from the storm that took place during the night. The rain is a soft mist today, wetting the air.


Marrone left Alma sleep in the den and he stepped out into the wet grass, he could feel the mud beneath him sink down. His grey eyes gazed up at the sky and he noticed today wasn't going to be so bad, he inhaled deeply. He enjoyed this quiet moment before hearing the soft stirring of his Pride,"Today I will have them do some training." he thought to himself.


Mheetu rose from the den his body ached as he stretched forward in the muddy grass, he looked to Marrone and nodded. Taking a moment he stepped to the cool blue watering hole and lapped up some liquid, he could feel his body jump start. He reclined back and looked up at the sky, grey clouds and their seemed to be wet wind flying all around him.

Tempesta left the den after Mheetu and she padded over to Delano, "Hey...wake up.." she whispered softly crawling into the den with him. She rested her wet body on his and sighed, "Its muddy and windy, not so much rain though." she said softly.

Delano woke up when Tempesta came inside his den. "So instead of getting wet from the top, we get wet from the bottom." he commented. "Mheetu's going to have a lovely day today." he added with a chuckle. It was clear that Mheetu didn't like rain. But now with the after-effects, how will he deal with them?

Delano got up, and with Tempesta, walked outside. The recent rain made the air smell sweet and refreshing. A total contrast to the mess that the storm created to the ground. "Do you know what we are doing today?" Delano asked. "It would be interesting teaching Mheetu how to fight again, now that it's wet and muddy."
