"Oh, that was a fun time," Kopa continued as they finally arrived at the den.

Vitani smiled, "How can I possibly forget?" she asked, not really meaning it as a question.

Kopa sat down. "So, what now?" he asked.

Vitani smiled and sat next to him, "Well, just being here with you in this exact spot is enough for me."

Kopa smiled. "Same here," he said.

Vitani nuzzled him gently, "Let's just enjoy spending some time together, then we can head back and check on the cubs." she said with a smile.

Kopa rubbed heads with her and then sat down. "This is one of my favorite places," he said.

Vitani smiled as her mate sat down beside her. "Mine too. Probably the most favorite now that I think about it." after what had happened between them in the place, she always felt closest to Kopa whenever they went there.

"Thank you, 'Tani, for everything you've done for me," Kopa said before turning his eyes to the sky to silently thank the great kings for what they had given him.

Vitani smiled, licking Kopa's cheek once and then looking at the sky as well.
