Nello's son put his own body, over hers. "Just follow me." Strangely it seemed the hunters were gone.

The doe managed to stand up after a few moments. She used his body for support. "Are they gone?" she then realised, "I think those weren't hunters. Hunters shoot for meat or fur... But I heard that some just do it for fun and then leave their target to die..>"

Nello's son said, "Fun?" He tried to help her stand up but his body was very wobbly as well once he helped her. "Ugh when will this pain end?" He then said, "Will you be okay?"

The doe said, "Fun for them... That's what I heard..." she sighed and said, "I think so... But this really hurts..."

Nello's son nodded, "Well I'll stay with you until you feel better." Suddenly both he and the doe fell down right into the path of his cousin.

The buck's son was surprised for a moment but was even more shocked upon seeing the wounds they carried from the gun shot, "What happened?!"

Nello's son however just passed out before he could say anything. The buck said, "Son come on we better drag them over here." He then said, "They look bad."

The buck's son said, "I'm sure they're fine." the doe was still conscious. The buck's son sighed, 'The talk with grandfather will wait...'

After a little while Nello's son woke up and felt a little better. Not feeling conscious he used his normal voice, "What happened?"

The buck's son however did not recognise his cousin's voice because his cousin was now older and had a different voice. "Well, on the bright side, that shot seems to have fixed your voice..." the doe next to Nello's son also woke up.
