With each passing minute going by, tension was sure building up around everyone. Shani in particular seemed anxious to do something about their little dilemma in regards to the Pridelander and Sykara's sarcasm remark only made him smile partially. It was nice of her to lighten up everyone's mood, even during these bad difficult times and what seemed like an eternity, Sirom's brown like eyes quickly caught the movements of the Outlander king moving away from their secret obscure hiding place and into the area where Sykara was situated. He knew by this time, their cover was disclosed and there was no real point of hiding anymore. The young lion immediately moved away from his section of the ridge to meet up with Shani and Sykara, making sure to keep eyes on this young lioness Pridelander. Sure enough, she was well alone and not physically capable of fighting with three fully grown lions at once. Even though bloodshed may come about in a few moments, fighting was always his last resort and he felt more concerned of working things out by explaining different point of views.
Upon hearing what Shani was saying, Sirom's fuzzy brown ears remained perfectly erect and listened on in to what the Outlander king was addressing. When Shani was finishing speaking with his question, Sirom couldn't help but pitch in this little predicament that all of them were suffering.
"We're sorry for trespassing in your territory, Pridelander... You see... Here in the Outlands, food is really scarce and getting any sort of reasonable meat is a challenge for us. Our best bet to survive in these harsh conditions was to seek food in the Pride Lands. I know Simba doesn't allow us to come near his territory... But how are we suppose to survive out here? It's pretty much impossible." The young lion explained in a composed tone, not wanting to raise his voice too high so he wouldn't aggravate the lioness whatsoever.
With things falling silent for a little, Sirom glanced from Shani, Sykara and to the Pridelander in hopes they wouldn't strike each others throats. Not wanting violence coming upon them, Sirom hoped they can work something around this obstacle and ensure both parties will be happy. He once again spoke up in a soft tone.
"Look, I know you don't really enjoy our presence here but do you think you can just spare us one wildebeest? If we can just get something in our stomachs, we won't ever bother your Pride and their belongings in the future. You have my word for it. However, if you're not willing to follow any of our nice tactics, we may have to use strict force to get what we want. Typically, I'm comfortable with the Pridelanders for the most part and I ensure you I don't want any fight going on. So, what do you say? Would you be kind enough for us to catch one wildebeest? One of us have been hungry for hours and even days. If you can spare us one wildebeest, it'll be a big help." Sirom finished speaking, keeping a close eye on this Pridelander in all seriousness. The muscles around his hind legs and forelegs were so condensed by this point, he was perfectly ready for any surprise attack that may happen in any moment, although any physical contact can lead into bigger consequences. For Sykara, Shani and himself, they may fall victim to more Pridelanders and even Simba if they stay any longer in Simba's domain.
