The morning went on. It was time for Vitani to lead the lionesses on the morning hunt. "Good luck," Kopa told her.

Vitani sighed as she had to let go of the still sleeping Nguvu and go on her hunt, "Keep an eye on him while I'm gone." she said with a smile and then left.

"I will," Kopa said as he watched her leave. Nguvu finally woke up. "Where's Mom?" he asked.

Saba giggled and sat down next to her brother, "She went hunting with the other lionesses."

"Well, I hope she's successful. I'm hungry," Nguvu replied.

Saba giggled, "Of course she will, she's mom!"

Kopa smiled. "Of course. She rarely fails," he said.

Saba again giggled. After a while, the hunting group returned carrying what they had caught.

Nguvu ran to his mother. "Hi Mom!" he shouted excitedly.

Vitani smiled and nuzzled her son, and Saba who arrived next to her brother a moment later. "Hey you two!" she smiled and looked at the lionesses, "Put it down over here."
