The Mystics. *Private Arani and QOPR*

[AdAstrα]

"You're mistaken!" He retorted, his lips curling into a malicious grin that exposed all of his sharp teeth, "You think you can save him, but this is no longer possible. It's too late! Your friend is dying, and nothing you do to me will bring him back."

[Arani]

Hatari starred at him for a few moments. "You're right. Hofu's the only one who can stop you." She said flatly, he eyes locked on his. "But that doesn't mean I can't help out. You can't stop him from remembering. You know that, I know you do."

[AdAstrα]

Without hesitating any further, the lion lunged at Hatari.
This plan meant everything to him, and now that he was getting so much closer to taking over the kingdom at last, he could not let anything stop him from succeeding. Especially not a pair of lionesses with supernatural abilities. So what if they could sense Hofu's spirit? If that was the only thing they could really do, there was no need to worry. He would still be stronger than them, strong enough to easily beat them in a fight.

[Arani]

Hatari barely got out of his way. "What's the matter?" She asked as he kept lunging at her. "Lose your sense? He's holding you back from being at your best, isn't he?" She kept on moving out of his way as best she could, occationally getting hit, until a few drops of blood hit the dirt. "A tiny scratch can't defeat me."

[AdAstrα]

"I..will kill you!" He roared, infuriated by the way she was mocking him, mainly because he knew that she was right. Something was preventing him from fighting as hard as he normally would have, and that something could be nothing else than the spirit of Hofu. "Get away from here!" He muttered in an attempt to drive him away, but it was no use. He could almost feel his presence, and how it was holding him back.
As the blind lioness approached, ready to defend her friend , he lunged at her too. Unable to see, she ducked only seconds too late, and screamed as shockingly scarlet blood started to run down her forehead.

[Arani]

"Ayria!" Hatari yelled, running over to defend her. "Just play along. Keep on dodging, try not to let him touch you at all. We want to wear him out." She whispered, never taking her eyes off of Hofu. "We need him to get tired so that the real Hofu has a chance. Alright?"

[AdAstrα]

Ayira nodded, trying to ignore the pain and not show any signs of weakness. She could feel Hofu, or the spirit who had possessed him, lunging at them both and sincerely hoped that Hatari was right, that everything was going to be ok. He seemed to be getting tired..

[Arani]

(Sorry I didn't reply back sooner. Been REALLY busy!)

Hatari looked back at Hofu, who had stopped attacking. He was breathing heavily. He just starred at them. "Had enough yet?" She asked him, showing no signs of exhaustion. She kept on looking at him strait in the eye. He had to give up sooner of later.

Hofu let out a roar of anger and lunged at Ayira again, but this time she sensed the movement quick enough to avoid his sharp claws. He stared at them and for a few moments it seemed like he was going to attack again, but instead he fell to the ground, sending little clouds of dust flying in every direction. He was gasping, evidently unable to catch his breath, and Ayira turned to Hatari, suddenly frightened. "Hatari, what if this goes wrong?" she asked anxiously, "How do we know if it'll work?"

[Arani]

Hatari looked at her for a long moment. She hadn't actually thought about that. "We'll know." She said simply, turning her attention back to Hofu, who was trying desprately to get his breath back.
