"Marrone, King Mufasa has passed away." Alma whispered to the king who she knew would be shocked. Alma nuzzled Marrone realizing how lucky she was to have her family, even though she never really knew her parents too well but still knows they are around

Vitani's world just crashed and burned with the power of only 5 words. Her eyes closed, and tears started pouring out. "It can't be." She she paused, "Tell me it's not true!" She added, lowering her head. Knees started shaking, as the princess lost her apatite for all foods. The paw of Zuwa is the only touch Vitani could feel, as well as the hug from Alma. On top of all this, her legs gave out, it felt like forever for her to hit the ground. A small moan left the princess mouth, as tears stained her face and the dirt dried up the fallen tears. Her eyes never opened as she brought her limbs closer to her. She could feel the pressure of a million eyes staring down at her. "How did this happen?" Was all she could moan out. Shujaa said the words and Maximus felt the pain the princess was feeling. He closed his eyes to pray for Vitani, Mufasa and the rest of the royal family. All he saw in his closed eyes were images of his parents death, so horrid and horrible. The murders made him watch. That's where he got the two scars on his nose. He remember the streams of blood dripping down his face. Tears started forming, but the lion stayed strong and shook the images out. Looking at Vitani with his aqua eyes, he bowed his head is sorrow for the princess.

Shujaa went over to the princess. "I'm sorry, your highness, but it is true. He was very old. However, he died surrounded by those he loved," he stated.

Himili lay her head against her mate, feeling the same way he was. "This..." she sighed. She knew she shouldn't have, because it was not her father, nor should she scare small Zuwa. But she did.
Zuwa stood over Vitani's body, feeling horrible. It was just a lion, how could she feel like this? He looked at his mother, her face darker in spots were tears fell. Seeing the princess and his mother's tears was too much. He began to cry and scream too. "Why him? Why couldn't it be someone else? Why did it have to be Mufasa! Stupid kings of the past!"

Alma heard Zuwas screams and walked over, "It is not the fault of the greatkings of the past." Alma put on paw on Zuwa, "Listen to me Zuwa the great kings of the past shine down on us watching our every move guiding us to our glory, and you know, Mufasa is up there right now watching over his daughter and son he must be sad to be gone but he will still guide them," Alma said before putting a paw over Vitanis heart,"He will always be right here" Alma said in a motherly tone.

Mheetu stepped beside Vitani and hugged her tightly, "Mufasa was a strong lion. If he passed with Simba and Nala he probably got to say his goodbyes." he murmured. He stepped back and his green eyes looked to her, "Remember Mufasa is with us in the circle of life and I'm sure hes watching down on us right now." he added.

Marrone looked to Vitani, "I'm sorry for your loss. Mufasa was a great King." he said in a sad tone. His grey eyes looked to his mate and he sighed, "We are all getting old." he whispered. He looked to Maximus and Delano and Tempesta, "We have a few extra mouths to feed together. Go get 3 more kills and we should be fine." he ordered to them.

Sarafina stepped up to Vitani and pulled her close like a mother should and she hugged her tightly, "Its going to be okay Tani. Your father handled it very well. Nala and Simba are doing fine and the cubs are so big and always causing trouble." she said with a light smile. "You should see them they ask about you and Mheetu all the time." she added.

Tempesta nodded to Marrone and looked to Maximus and Delano, "Come on boys, lets hurry back. I'm tired." she grumbled softly. She turned her head to Dyanna, "Stay close itll be getting dark soon Dy." she said softly before padding beside Delano.

Dyanna nodded and stepped up next to Zuwa, "Sorry Princess for your daddy." she said looking up at her. She looked at Sarafina and awed at her bright fur, "I don't have a mommy or daddy either." she whispered softly before sitting back.
