The next morning a fawn called the buck's son out of the den.

The buck's son slowly headed for the entrance. This time however he was being more cautious.

That same fawn was there and it was Nello's son. However now he was more calm with tears in his eyes and looking depressed. "Hello cousin."

The buck's son was a little bit startled, but something about his cousin seemed different. Instead of being angry, he found himself walking over to his cousin, "Where have you been?" he asked, concerned.

Nello's son said, "Away from everyone...including Karus. By myself...that is where I need to stay. Goodbye cousin."

The buck's son ran after him, "No, don't go."

Nello's son said, "I will return one day. You have my promise." He again walked away and before his cousin could find him he was gone.

[TheWhistlerify]

The voice spoke to Nello's son one more time, "When you are ready to return, they will accept you." the voice then dissapeared.

Nello's son then went over to Gurri's den. "Gurri!"

Gurri peeked from inside the den. She noticed Nello's son and frowned, "What do you want?"
