Nyembe never broke eye contact with Vitani. "I've heard his name, but not much about him. What's he like?" he asked.

Mheetu looked to Addana and nodded, he let her chatter away and didn't say anything. As she decided to eat and groom herself Mheetu over heard Delano blurt out about Tempesta. He smirked and grabbed another piece of meat himself, he watched Delano fumble his words. For such a big strong lion he sure was all shy around Tempesta, the Pride Protecter is in love. Mheetu chuckled to himself and looked to Tempesta, he waited to see her reaction but then quickly looked to Addana. "Lets head back to the Pride.'

Tempesta's turquoise eyes widened and a giggle slipped from her muzzle her paw lifted to keep it in. Stepping towards Delano she moved her face towards his and got real close to his ears, "Well if your asking me if i like you, then yes, yes i do. BUT if your asking me if you like me, well I thought you did." she whispered. Stepping back from Delano she looked to Mheetu and Addana, "Mheetu's right, lets take the rest of this kill home for a snack. Well be back out here later hunting for dinner." she added padding back into the jungle. Jumping through the bushes and she came to a quick stop and a low growl emitted from her muzzle, "Do you belong here?" she snapped fangs bared. She paused a moment, these two newcomers resembled some lion she already knew.

Sarafina's paws ached and she finally rested in the jungle for a moment, she looked to Shujaa. "Were almost there...i know its around he-." She was cut off by a lioness stepping through the bushes, her green eyes narrowed. "Well yes young one. I'm Sarafina and this is Shujaa. We came looking for Vitani and..." Her green eyes flickered at the sight of her son stepping through the bushes, he'd got some muscle and his mane was thicker since she had last seen him. "Mheetu!" She ran to greet him and nuzzled his neck.

Mheetu's green eyes matched with his mother's and he nuzzled her back, checking over how frail she seemed. "Its so good to see you!" he said grinning wide. Even though he left on bad terms,he missed his parents greatly. He nodded to his father and then turned to Tempesta, "Relax Tempesta these are my parents from the Pridelands. Why are you here?" he questioned them.

Tempesta backed off and looked to the small group, "Lets get back then." she said cutting through the jungle. In her mind she kept replaying Delano's words, she'd have a talk with him later. Stepping back into the clearing she looked to the King and bowed her head, "King Marrone, we found visitors in the jungle. They need to speak with Princess Vitani." she added giving the scoop.

Marrone's conversation was interupted by Tempesta and a few others, he looked at the newcomers. "Welcome I'm King Marrone. Right now Vitani is on a tour with my son Prince Nyembe, but they should be back soon." he said reclining infront of his new guests.

Shujaa nodded to the king of the Nero pride. "Hopefully, she won't be too much longer. We have news about her father," he stated.

Vitani smiled. "He's so nice! Simba has golden fur and a big red mane that match his large brown eyes! He's almost the duplicate of my amazing father!" She said excitedly. "I can't wait to see him again, I hope you get to see him too!" Her voice was excited and full of happiness. "Nyembe, once we get married, can we go back to my home and visit?" She asked, looking into his eyes.

Delano sat on the ground, pondering Tempesta's words. Based on what she said... it looked like Mheetu was right after all... Delano frowned, thinking, but heard some commotion ahead of him. He jumped onto his feet and ran over. He came upon Tempesta and Mheetu, who was busy nuzzling two strange lions.

Tempesta looked like she was going to the pride area, so Delano stooped next to her. "Who are they?" he asked her. She told him. "Oh, all right. Well, I'm going to have to bring them over to Marrone. Standard procedure and all..." Tempesta left again, leaving Delano with Mheetu and his parents.

Delano approached them slowly, not to give a hostile impression. He smiled when they looked at him. "Hi! My name's Delano. I live hear with the pride." He looked at Mheetu. "Mheetu, would you like to introduce me to these two lions?" He didn't want to scare them by already knowing who they were, so Delano pretended to be oblivious.

Nyembe looked deep into Vitani's eyes. "Of course we can visit your Pridelands," he told her.

As they all sat back and waited for Vitani Mheetu looked to Delano, "My mother and father." he said with a smile. Resting his paw on Delano's shoulder he looked to him, "Why don't you go over there and talk to her." he added with a nodd. His green eyes looked to his mother and he stepped up to her, "I'm sorry." he muttered.

Tempesta stepped back and reclined on her haunches outside of the group, her eyes looked to Delano she watched him chat with Mheetu. She looked at Mheetu's mom and how light she and Shujaa were. There colors were different so pretty, she thought and looked around her pride. They prefered darker colors it kept their camoflouge in the jungle, she looked back to the king.

The King nodded to Shujaa, "How is Mufasa doing?" he said to Sarafina. He stepped towards her and smiled, "Its been to long Safi, your still beautiful." he added with a chuckle.

Sarafina smiled at Marrone, "You would think so Marrone, your lands are beautiful. Your Pride is very well run." she said looking around at the eyes on watching them. Her green eyes looked to Marrone and sadness passed through them, "Unfortuneately, Mufasa passed away. We came to tell Mheetu and Vitani the news." she said softly to the group. She lifted her paw and pulled Mheetu into a hug, "No Mheetu, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have tried to stop you, you've grown into a mighty lion. I'm proud of you." she said matching her eyes with his.

Mheetu hugged his mother and his eyes glazed over, Mufasa was like another father to him. He watched him as a cub and told him stories and Mheetu sighed stepping back from his mother. He blinked back the tears and he nodded, "I hope Vitani returns soon." he muttered.

Shujaa looked at Mheetu. "It's good to see you doing well, my son. Simba, Nala and their cubs are doing well too," he said.

Mufasa was dead? Even in the jungle, the pride had heard stories about Mufasa. He was supposed to have been a great and just king.

Delano found himself suddenly wanting to meet Mufasa: a prospect that was now impossible. He looked down. "I'm so sorry, Mheetu," he said quietly. He stood up. "I'll go get Vitani. She needs to know." Delano ran off to the pride area, and soon enough found her with Nyembe.

"Vitani! Nyembe!" Delano called out. "You better come! We just got word about Mufasa!" Delano lead the two of them back to Mheetu's parents. He didn't want to tell them exactly what the news were. He didn't feel like it was his place to tell them. Not even when they kept asking him why he was such in a hurry to get back. "It's important." Was all he told them, trying to sound neutral.

Vitani smiled. "Yes!" The enthusiasm in her voice was 100% real. A voice echoed in the distance, her ears twitched when she the voice calling her name. Delano! The lion ran up and told them about her father. She got excited and worried at the same time. He lead them to Sarafina and Shujaa, her eyes widened. "Hey 'Rafi and 'Jaa!" She excitedly said, hugging them both, and nuzzling their necks. The sound of Delano's voice echoed through her ears. "Important?" She questioned. "What is it? Are the cubs okay? Is everything okay?" Vitani's voice kept sounding more worried with every word she spoke. Butterflies filled the stomach of the lioness, her mind filled with possibilities of what happened to make Sarafina and Shujaa come to the Nero Pride in search of her and Mheetu.

Maximus heard comotion a short distance away from him. His ears twitched, then he jogged to the scene and sat beside Tempesta. "Tempy, what's this about?" He whispered, keeping his English voice from interrupting the talk between the unknowns, Vitani and Mheetu. Overhearing the unknowns nicknames be 'Rafi and 'Jaa. His blue eyes stared at the unknown male and female lions. Their colours were magnificent, though his colours were dark, they were still light enough to tell he came from a different pride. The colours of 'Rafi and 'Jaa brightened the surroundings, Maximus heard int he distance, monkeys and birds fleeing from he scene. A sigh escaped his mouth.
