The voice laughed, "Because she's the wolf."

Kodi sighed, "So? She's a kind one." what did he mean by 'the wolf'?

Suddenly the ghost turned out to be a mean looking Doberman. "So get out!" He again knocked him off and laughed.

Kodi got up and limped back over to Annabeth.

The voice was getting impatient, "Last chance."

Kodi looked at the doberman, "Please... I'll do whatever you want..."

The voice laughed, "Wrong answer!" He threw Kodi across the room and put every box in the barn in the center of it so Kodi and Annabeth were separated. The voice then said, "Okay dog tell me why you're really here!"

Kodi was barely able to stand back up, "I wanted to spend some time with my mate. I barely get to see her... her father and his pack are after me and my familly. So the only way for us to be together was to be inside the village, and since the humans would shoot her if they saw her, I brought her here..."
