The buck sighed, "I had no parents son."

The buck's son was quiet for a moment, "I... I never knew that father."

The buck said, "I only had my grandparents and I told them to die."

The buck's son said nothing at that.

The buck shook his head, "That doesn't excuse my crimes however son." He then smiled and said, "When I first met your mother well..." he stopped, "you wouldn't be interested."

The buck's son smiled, "No, that does sound interesting."

The buck went ahead, "Well I was about your age...and uh I met the Great Prince and your mother..." he laughed and said, "she didn't like me much when we were fawns." He puased and said, "When I met her when I was a grown buck I thought she was the Great Prince's mate and thought she was the most beautiful thing I ever saw..." The buck smiled, "What about you son? Do you like anyone yet?"
