Nala nuzzled her father and then she nuzzled her mother, "I love you both. We will see you when you return. Dont take to long." she said softly stepping back next to Simba. She looked to her mate and then nodded to her mother and father, tears glazing over.

Sarafina looked to Nala and Simba, [b]"Well be back before you know it. I love you to Nala. Im so proud of you." she whisperd. She looked down at Kiara and smiled, "My little Princess, Ill be back soon! When I return ill teach you how to pounce like a champ!" she chuckled. She looked to Shujaa and nodded, padding down the Rocky path, they made their way through the Pridelands. To the Nero Pride.

Shujaa sighed. "Princess Vitani will surely be upset with the news of Mufasa's death. I still remember the day that he brought her into his family," he said.

"Bye," Kopa called softly. After he had lost his grandfather, the last think he wanted to was to lose his maternal grandparents as well.

Simba looked at his cubs. "Remember this, you three: Grandpa lives in you," he stated, remembering what Mufasa had once told him and Vitani about the great kings of the past.

"Really?" Kopa asked, confused. "I thought they lived in the sky as stars."

Simba smiled. "They do, but they also live in every thing we see around us," he stated.

Kopa blinked, still puzzled. But a light shone in his eyes as he suddenly realized what Simba was saying to him. "So you mean a part of their spirit containing their guidance, wisdom, compassion, and other good qualities to help guide and nurture everything around us?"

"Exactly, Kopa," Simba said. He then began to think about what Mufasa had said regarding his heir. "My cubs, I think it is time for the heir to the throne to be picked," he said.

Kiara's eyes widened. "Who Daddy! Who?" She questioned, jumping up and down. Hoping it was her, the one thing she wanted to be, was just like her mother. Anything else didn't really matter. Her mind filled with laws she would make and get rid of if she was Queen, and what training she would do to become just as great as her amazing mother. Butterflies filled the stomach of the young female. Her mother would be proud of what a great Queen she would be.
