"Thank you," Kopa said before turning back to his mate.

Vitani woke up after a few hours. The first thing that caught her eyes were her cubs. She smiled and licked them both.

"Welcome back, 'Tani," Kopa said. He smiled down at her and their cubs.

Vitani wanted to get up so that she could nuzzle Kopa, but she still felt too weak to do so. "Nguvu looks just like you..." she said with a smile.

"And Saba looks just like you," Kopa said as he laid down to admire his cubs. "This is my happiest day," he said.

Vitani smiled, "Mine to." she said, nuzzling Kopa now that he was beside her.

Kopa continued admiring his cubs. "If you like, I could bring you some prey," he said to her.

Vitani smiled, "I don't suppose you can bring water..." she knew he couldn't and said, "Maybe I'll feel strong enough to walk to the waterhole in the evening..."

"Rest as long as you need to," Kopa stated.

Vitani smiled and again looked down at her cubs, "I can't believe they're finally born..."
