[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Chaka sat behind Kopa, suddenly concerned about what his brother had just said. He could barely remember his Aunt and Uncle, since he was just an infant going to a cub when they had left, he only remembered Mheetu's gold mane and Vitani's purple-blue eyes. He looked at his father, with a frown. "Dad? Who is going to tell them?" He worried, Vitani would be sad about his grandfather's death, she was his only daughter.

"Can we go visit them?" Kopa asked, trying not to remember his grandfather had just passed.

OOC: As of now, I reclaim control of Simba and Regina.

Simba looked to his son. "No, Kopa. They are too far away. However, I can send Zazu to Aunt Vitani and Uncle Mheetu to give them the news," he said.

Nala nodded in agreement with Simba, "Kopa your entirely too young. All of you." she sighed. She looked out on the Pridelands and wondered how Mheetu and Vitani were doing, she missed her little brother. She hoped he managed to get back before her mother passes away, she'd love to see him.

Sarafina stepped up to her paws and looked to Simba and Nala, "Could I go? Please?" she asked Simba softly. She felt achy but she knew her body could make a few more trips, she had to see Mheetu at least one last time. "Ill be quick. I wont stay to long.." she said softly.

Simba looked at his mother-in-law. "Are you sure you're up to it?" he asked.

Nala's blue eyes widened and she shook her muzzle, "No mother. You could get killed out there!" she snapped. She stepped infront of Sarafina and she sighed, "Its to dangerous..." she whispered.

Sarafina's green eyes narrowed at Nala, "You may be Queen but you wont speak to your mother that way!" she growled. Sarafina looked to Simba and nodded, "I can make it, I'm strong. Plus I know where the Pride lies in the jungle, Zazu may not." she inquired.

Nala frowned and nodded, [b]"Fine go." she said softly. She reclined back to her hinds and looked to Simba, "I didn't want this..." she muttered.

Sarafina stepped away towards the cubs and licked each one and gave a soft nuzzle, "I love you cubs. I'll be back soon. You won't even notice I'm gone." she added smiling.

Shujaa walked over to where Sarafina was. "Would you like you like some company, my love?" the aging former rogue asked.

Sarafina's green eyes looked up at Shujaa and she nodded, "Yes,please." she said with a smile. She nuzzled Shujaa's mane and imagined what her Mheetu looked like now all grown up.

"Then let us leave. The sooner we leave, the sooner we get there," Shujaa said to Sarafina. He then turned to Nala. "I'm very proud of you, my daughter. You are a worthy successor to Queen Sarabi. Your mother and I will see you soon," he told her.

OOC: I don't think I made an awakening to Kiara? But i'll just go ahead with the conversation.

Kiara smiled. "Good bye, Nana 'Rafi and Papa 'Jaa!" Kiara yelled, she wasn't awake to see anything during her fainting. She missed her Aunt 'Tani and Uncle 'Etu, her head dropped. "Mother, I hope Nana and Papa don't lose their lives." She noted looking up at her mother.

Folle smiled. "Um, okay." She said with no emotion, well at least tried to. Kovu kicked down the termite mound, and she went after the strays. Killing every single termite that caught her eye. Her white fur blinded the termites into thinking she was the sun and meant no harm.
