Sarabi`s colors in TLK changed too. When Simba was a baby, she had light fur, red-brown eyes and brown ear rims. But later her fur became darker, her ear rims became very dark and also Sarabi`s eyes became amber. I think it`s normal - even the colors of real lions can change with their age.

personally I don't see much of a difference but if you guys see the differences above is your answer

1) young Sarabi and Mufasa (Simba is a baby here)
2) Sarabi (Simba is a cub, not baby)
