Matthew Broderick

Here is my list of favorite Matthew Broderick films:

WarGames: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WarGames - Matt's first real lead role. He really did an outstanding job in the film, and the story really gets you very hooked.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferris_Bueller%27s_Day_Off - Classic John Hughes teenage film. Really one of the best films of the Genre, usually listed as the best film from Matt, but I think it ranks behind a few of them. An amazing film, but not the best, and the not the best John Hughes film eigther, in my opinion (I'd say that's eigther Home Alone, or The Breakfast Club).
Biloxi Blues: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biloxi_Blues_(film) - Probably my favorite film from Matt, even better then his role in The Lion King. Matt, and all the other actors in the film really made this film amazing. Matt and Christopher Walken should of gotten Awards for their preformances at the end, a really really intense and amazing ending.
Glory: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glory_(1989_film) - Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman (u mad, Moka?), and Matt = <3
The Cable Guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cable_Guy - An odd preformance, mainly due to Jim Carey. Surprisingly very sexual for it's rating. None the less, I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Election: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Election_(1999_film) - Sounds good, and is usually listed on the top Matt lists I always see, so it must be good. I just recently bought it, so I'll have to give it a view. lol
You Can Count On Me: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_Can_Count_on_Me - Haven't seen, but sounds like a pretty good indie film.
The Music Man: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Music_Man_(2003_film) - Haven't seen it, but it's a 3 hour musical with Matt in it. It must be amazing.
The Stepford Wives: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Stepfo ... (2004_film) - Actually a pretty good remake, is it just me or did Matt really buff up for this movie? 0.0
The Producers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Producers_(2005_film) - Though I would also highly suggest the Zero Mostel/Gene Wilder version of the film as well :P, for some reason I actually liked this version better. Probably because Matt + Nathan Lane + Uma Thurman = <3
Wonderful World: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonderful_World_(film) - more towards an indie film, but good none the less.

To be released:
Margaret: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margaret_(2011_film) - Though not realeased yet, I already think it sounds really good. I mean, 4 years of legal troubles over the director wanting his true vision with the film is really gonna be amazing. Plus look at that cast list, that's just a great ensemble.

Broderick was a nice choice, he has a nice smooth voice that really does lend a warmth to Simba, however I do sometimes feel that his voice is a bit soft, he doesn't seem to have a lot of strength behind it. But still, in TLK, very believable and loveable, not so much in SP as some of the others have said.

Matthew Broderick: In my opinion, he cant pick good movies. The movies might suck (except for TLK, of course), but the actor himself, I enjoy his performances. Then there is always The Producers: Simba again lost in another world, with Timon helping him. (A cut scene included Pumbaa!)

I thought he was kind of dull in TLK. The Producers is amazing, and Feris Bueller is to. Definately I'd rank The Producers, Biloxi Blues, Feris Bueller, and TLK as his top movies. He does kind of pick bad movies to star in, but he'll usually still be the most kick ass person in those movies. lol

Ahh, good old Simba! ^^ MB is like the lifeline of TLK, since he's supported all three movies thus far and hopefully will reprise Simba's role in the next TLK movie, assuming Simba's still alive, and better yet, assuming Disney actually gets off their tails and makes the next TLK movie! ^^ I honestly don't think they could get rid of Simba, let alone Mathew Broderick, since there's just no substitute for his marvelous talents. I might have liked the Timon & Pumbaa show if he had lent his voice to the series for the episodes that featured Simba in them. There again, I probably would have liked the show a LOT more if every character had their original voice talent playing them, and not only Pumbaa. lol. Gotta give Ernie Sabella credit for keeping his character true at least. >.>
Disney is gonna make a new TLK movie?!!!!????
No, because on the back of SP, It says there will be no more TLK films.

Anyway.. I think Matthew Broderick is okay.. Not the best I've seen.

TLK 1.5 came after SP...

But I agree, the chances of another TLK movie are, effectively, 0. But still, MB is a great actor. The movies he's in, not so much...
I knew him in Deck the Halls movie. He sure sounds cool and handsome in all movies. In Deck the Halls, he was revealed to make a funny scream after the guy (played by Danny DeVito) has him out of his clothes, after he fell in an icey pond. He screamed like crazy thinking it is like sex. It makes me laugh everytime man.
Oh yeah! His scream during that part is so funny! Also when he was in the sleigh with horses as the "reindeer" and he ended up being pulled around the town. Those parts always make me laugh! xD

I actually prefer Cam Clarke as Simba. Not saying Broderick wasn't good, but I'm a huge Cam Clarke fan.
