Sirom remained stationary and observed their current surroundings, making sure that they weren't being followed by some rogue lions or Pridelanders that may have invaded their territory. Things were looking pretty good for them at the moment and the main focus now is to get their breakfast. Upon hearing what Sykara was saying, Sirom concentrated on what was being said about the plan and action that Sykara was providing. The small ridge they encountered behind them seemed like a good spot to lure a wildebeest. The young lion's ebony muzzle lips crooked a smile once more before speaking up.

"You know Sykara, the small ridge that all of us encountered not too far from coming here seems like our best bet. I'm not worried about the wildebeest running away from you but I am more concerned about the Pridelanders getting wind on what we're doing. I honestly don't think they will be ALL the way over here, seeing how King Simba's den isn't anywhere close to where we are." Sirom stated and seated himself up straighter now, looking over towards Shani who seemed to be in a keen like state on their location, probably making sure that there isn't anyone spying on them.

Sirom's eyes darted from the Elephant place where Sykara mentioned earlier, it seemed quite a distance away and the quick kill they need probably won't benefit them that much if they wanted to try and get over there. Shifting his position a little, the young lion glanced from both of his newly fond pride members, seeing the concern in their eyes. It wasn't a surprise to him to say the least and he also felt quite anxious about this ordeal they were about to make. This is something that needed to be addressed and living out in these cadaverous lands were taking their toll on all three of them. Not wasting anymore time, Sirom's ears perked up to hear some sounds ahead of them, probably coming from the waterhole.

"Okay Sykara, I think we should get this started. What Shani stated earlier about the ridge, it's going to be the drop-off point. If you can get the wildebeest to run near us, all three of us can attack our breakfast and drag it near the ridge. This way, we all can conserve our energy." Sirom smiled and watched the both of them carefully.

Kinahra woke with the warm sun on her back. Now, I'm ready! I've got my energy back and ready for the hunt! Stretching she dug her claws into the dirt and yawned. Shaking off any feelings of being tired she looked at the sky. It was about mid-day and she was kind of thirsty. Jumping into a run, she too off towards the waterhole.

Seeing it come into view she smiled. She had always loved this particular waterhole because it was close enough to the outlands she could see what was going on without getting yelled at because she crossed the boarder. Laughing at the memories she walked to a little area with not to many animals around it. None of the animals left as she approached because they all new she was there for herself...not them. Well not yet... She smiled and bent down to take a drink.

[OOC: You'd better not.]

Sykara looked at Sirom. Then she realized that going back to where that they had come from WAS in fact a pretty dumb idea. It was stilll highly doubted that the wildebeest would run from her and her small hunting party, it was a long trek and even though she had basically walked all the way to the waterhole area, her paws slightly ached from the trip. The perfect, or next-to-perfect, was the small ridge indeed. Why didn't I see that thing earlier?

"The small ridge it is, then," she said to the other two lions with a twich of her muzzle and whiskers. "Well, it's time I'd better get going."

As she was ready to jump off to start the hunt, she saw something next to the waterhole move. Sykara couldn't sense the wind moving much at all, so it couldn't be JUST a trick with the grass. Was it a Pridelander? It surely wasn't a wildebeest. She moved back, hoping he, she, it, whatever, wouldn't notice them.

OOC: Note Kivuli has been away for years he does not know Zira and Nuka are dead, and is Simba going to be played? If not then he also does know know about Simba going

By this time of day the sun had risen completely, illuminating the vast grasslands. Kivuli slowly came to a halt. He was in the Pridelands now, his old home. Even though it had been years there were clear memories he had of this place. How he played in the grass chasing small animals, the chaos of scars reign, and Simba out casting him. Kivuli wanted to pay Simba back for all the pain that he caused. He didnt care about the kingship, he just wanted sweet revenge and the chance to come home

As Kivuli stood in the long grass that brushed against his fur in the wind, his fire red eyes scanned the horizon remembering the layout of the land. The he spotted it. Priderock. Kivuli's final destination, but not just yet. The grey lion was thirty from his run and hungry. Using his memory he tried to trace his location by mind to remember the whereabouts of the waterhole was. It was always a good source of food and water. With the direction of the waterhole in his mind, Kivuli ran off again towards his target. At least he hoped so...

Kinahra's ears perked up. She looked to her left, and then her right. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Shaking her head she crawled to the tall grass. Looking around she tried to see anything out of place. She blinked and shook her head. "I'm just being paranoid. Everything is fine." With a flick of her tail she headed back to the waterhole.

Thats when the scent hit her. She froze and slowly turned towards the grass. She'd have to hide. The scent that she caught belonged to something that couldn't find her...unless she intended to fight. She hurried to the grass and stuck close to the ground. She didn't want to be scared but she didn't know how many were out there. Her muscles were tense, her stomache in knots and thats when she saw it...an outsider.

Kivuli finally reached his destination. His grey paws skidded to a halt, kicking up dirt and rocks around him. The water was clean and fresh. The various animals of the pridelands were gathered round to gave a drink. Everything from gazelle to elephants and zebra to giraffe. Kivuli knew this was going to be a good lunch.

As he licked he dry lips, he moved himself into the shallows of the waterhole and tilted hishead down to drink from the crystal waters as they shined in the mid day sun

Shani turned away from Sykara as she stated that she was heading off. He motioned to Sirom that they should fall back to the ridge now. "Come on," He said. "We'd better get ready for the ambush."

He wasn't aware that Sykara had noticed anything amiss, and assumed that she was beginning her silent and careful approach to the waterhole as planned. Shani started off towards the ridge a few paces back. He dropped down behind it, blocking his view of the pridelands. He lay down to conceal himself fully in the shadow, and waited for Sirom to join him.

As Shani moved away with Sirom to go to their expected ambush place, Sykara hoped to concentrate for at least once in this day. And she knew exactly what she wanted to work on; that figure behind the bushes. As it moved, Sykara's rather small eyes became wide open. Sykara was about ninety-nine percent sure that the lion she had just seen was a Pridelander. I can't give myself away...

"Hey, Shani!" Sykara tried her best to make sure Shani could hear her, but the Pridelander couldn't. "I don't think I should attack yet. I see something else, and I think it's a lion...someone from Simba's Pridelands..." Sykara edged back even more.

Sirom watched both of his fellow Pride members and heard that they were all ready. He was quite happy to see things were about to go in motion and when Sykara motioned ahead towards where the waterhole is, Sirom's fuzzy brown ears perked up to hear Shani call forth his name to get ready for the ambush. The young lion glanced over at the leader of the Outlands, giving him a nod before moving onwards towards the ridge in a expedite speed, unaware that Sykara was in the process of conceiving a Pridelander who apparently was near the waterhole. As Sirom made his way near the ridge, ready to come down next to Shani to get ready for the ambush, Sykara's startled like tone of voice rang out which immediately caught his attention. Even though it was directed towards Shani, he couldn't help but feel troubled about this sudden news. Sirom lowered himself to the ground and whispered quietly.

"Are you sure it's a Pridelander, Sykara? How could this be..." Sirom spoke softly, crawling towards where Sykara was situated so he can get a better view on where this creature was.

Scanning the area thoroughly, Sirom's brown eyes caught a glimpse of a young look lioness who seemed to look troubled, as if she knows of their existence. This wasn't good at all and the thought of this lioness taking off to alert more of the Pridelanders was racing through his mind, he knew too well what could happen if Simba were to catch wind of their plan and the fact they were trespassing.

"Sykara... Let's move back a little, it looks like the Pridelander may have caught our presence. If she takes off, we better hurry and get out of here as well." Sirom calmly said, glancing over towards Sykara and then to Shani who seemed more alert but kept his composure very well. Not wanting to make sudden plans and motions, Sirom kept a close eye on this Pridelander, keeping himself low to the ground to prevent this young lioness to catch a glimpse of him. Looking back towards Shani, the troubled lion spoke up once more.

"What do you think we should do, Shani? If this lioness takes off all of sudden, we can get cornered by Pridelanders in all directions... Also... I don't know if she's alone or not. She seems to look a bit troubled though, so I'm guessing she might be alone. What do you think?" Sirom asked and waited patiently for a plan to be executed. Hopefully the great Outlander King can come up with some brilliant idea about their current situation and Sirom sure did have a lot of faith in his new fond friend.

As soon as he caught wind of what was going on, Shani poked his head back up over the ridge to see Sirom and Sykara both torn between several courses of action. He scanned the horizon for signs of a pridelander, but didn't see anything.

"Both of you get over here, drop down behind the ridge." He hissed, not wanting to take any chances. "Are you sure you saw her? was she alone?"

This was exactly what they needed, Shani thought. A pridelander stumbling onto them by sheer senseless chance. He wished he could think that whoever it was hadn't seen them, but with all the calling back and forth, if there was a pridelander out there they knew someone was here. Shani's nimble mind considered all the possibilities quickly. Maybe the lioness would just mind her own buisness, and move on without coming to confront them. Then they could grab a meal while she left to get help or escape. If she did decide to make it a confrontation it wouldn't be one she could win, not three against one. But Shani wanted to avoid a straight out fight. A dissapearing lioness would be plenty reason for Simba to greatly increase patrols which would make their lives difficult.

Another, more daring option came to Shani then. What if they just continued with their plan, ignoring the witness. They'd be back in the outlands before any reinforcements could arrive, and then the choise would be Simba's: war over a stray wildebeest or just turning a blind eye.
