Mheetu looked to Addana and was astonished she apologized, he nodded to her as she stepped away. He noticed Vitani had woke up and he stepped over to her. "Morning Princess." he said with a smile. He shook his damp fluffy mane and chuckled. "How are you feeling?" he asked his green eyes watching the Pride gather around their King.

Madrone looked to his Pride, "Mheetu will be another Protecter with Delano. Delano will be training him. Tempesta go along with them and also take Addana with you. Teach her your tracking skills. Vitani will have Nyembe show her around the lands today." he spoke loudly. His grey eyes looked down on the Pride, "Also if you can't tell already, our rainy season is approaching. So Himili, Maximus and any extras can clean out our dens." he ordered, with a nod he dismissed them.

Tempesta nodded to her King's words and she padded to Delano, "Well looks like your giving Mheetu training and I get Addana." she grumbled. She hated training, tracking was a skill to her and you had to pay close attention. Her turqouise eyes rolled, "Let's stick together." she said to Delano. Stepping towards the jungle she looked to Addana, "Well start in the drylands."

Vitani smiled at the queen. "I'm fine. Just a nightmare." She reassured. "G'Morning Mheetu." Her voice calmed and she blushed. "I'm good and you?" Her voice sounded like it did yesterday when she was at the beautiful waterfall and her cheeks flushed out the red-ness. Her mind cleared of the dream, when she shook her head. The butterflies in the pit of her stomach were still there, she just couldn't get rid of them.

Alma walked to Marrone, "And what shall I do?" she asked her mate.

Marrone does have a point there, thought Delano. Mheetu did need training on how to fight better, and if he will stay in the pride, he will also need to learn how to fight in a jungle environment. Delano wanted to start as soon as possible, but only if Vitani would be fine with it, judging from the loud scream she gave off that set Mheetu running off.

Delano slowly headed after Mheetu, deciding that the calm after Vitani's scream meant that there were no problems. He reached Mheetu, who was comforting Vitani, but she looked already better than Delano would have imagined her. "Come, Mheetu. We're going to start the training now." Delano said. He gave Vitani a quick glance. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Vitani laughed and look at Delano. "I'm fine." She smiled. "Go have fun, boys!" She winked as they walked away. Turning on her heal and walking away, she started thinking about the dream she was having. Vitani walked into the large forest, far past the Pride, unaware where she was. "Is this a sign?" She asked herself. "Is Nyembe really the one?" Her voice stayed calm, a breeze swept gently in her light fur. "Great kings!" She yelled to the sky, "Please show me who my rightful mate is!" Her voice echoed through the forest. "Please." She whispered looking at the ground.

The lioness soon realized she was nowhere near the Pride. "Oh no." She sighed, running towards the lands again.

Mheetu watched Vitani step away and he sighed, he was worried about how strange she was acting. He looked up at Delano and nodded, he stood to his paws following close behind him. "Lets go get started. I never had defense training or well any training for that matter." he added.

Marrone looked to Alma, "You can either help the others clean out the dens for the rainy season or stay with me." he said. He sat by and watched as they all took their leave and he nodded. "Alma, tell Nyembe to fetch Vitani and show her around. They need to have a actual conversation."

Tempesta followed behind Delano and Mheetu she looked back at Addana, "Come on Addana, hurry up." she called to her. Tempesta watched Vitani run into the jungle and she sighed, she was one strange lioness. As they approached the grasslands Tempesta let Delano and Mheetu go infront of them, "First thing in tracking is of course, finding fresh tracks." she said.

Alma nodded and walked over to Nyembe, "Nyembe your father wants you to show Vitani around, go and have fun." Alma said to him before poking him with her paw and going back and sitting with Marrone. She nuzzled Marrone and watched the others pad off to the dens. Alma isn't much of a cleaner.

Addana nodded, engrossed with her training. She was eager to embrace more duties and prove to her pride that just because she was no heir, she was not useless at all. "New tracks," she mumbled to herself, imprinting it to mind and scanning her location. Seeing a set of hoofed tracks that were only a day old at most, she carefully sniffed them to gather the scent and stood patiently waiting for Tempesta's next instruction.

Delano circled Mheetu, who was clearly eager to learn quickly. Delano smiled at the other's energy. "Eager, I see. That's good. But you are forgetting something." Without explain what, Delano turned and ran, but not before checking to make sure that Mheetu was chasing after him. As Delano ran, he moved between the many trees in a seemingly random pattern, always just out of reach of Mheetu's potential claws, but Delano knew the way. He jumped on a large log that fell over a creek, and turned around to face Mheetu when they were in the middle.

Delano grinned. "I suspect that in the wide open savanna, you don't have to worry about where you are." Delano said. "But now, you only have two options. Flee, of fight me. So now I ask you, which option do you choose?" Delano knew that what Mheetu was after was were fighting skills. But here in the jungle, knowing the terrain was much more important than bring able to get off a good swing of a clawed paw.

Nyembe, despite his mother's commands, couldn't really go have fun because there was nothing to do. He sighed, and laid his head on his paws again.

"Mom, can I go play outside?" Zuwa asked his mother. All he knew was, he had been grounded. He certainly wasn't sure how long, however, and he didn't want to get in trouble. "I suppose," Himili said, smiling. "I guess it wouldn't hurt." "Yes!" he whispered, and zipped outside.
