The fawn's mother got up and slowly herded her son back into the den.

The fawn did a little huff of annoyance and looked around still. He wanted to go explore.

Nello said to his son, "Once you can walk on your own, we'll show you around okay?"

The fawn just laid down and tried to smile at his father.

Nello smiled at his son, "Why don't you try again?"

The fawn tried to get up but fell down yet again and frowned.

Nello remembered himself falling alot in his first attempts to walk. He smiled and nudged his son upwards with his nose.

His son felt like giving up but was encouraged by his father yet he fell down again. He huffed in disappointment.

Nello smiled and said, "You know, it took me alot of time to walk for the first time." maybe setting him a goal would do the trick... "Think you can beat that?"

The fawn just frowned and grew bored. Meanwhile the buck woke up and looked to see if his son was awake.
