The buck again put his head down, "I can only give the best I can manage which isn't much. I can only promise that my son will have a father, whether I will be good or not is debateable."

Laini frowned, "Don't say that." she had no idea why was her grandson so sure that his fawn would be a male, but it didn't matter.

The buck said, "I will stay with you grandmother until you pass away." He went ahead and lay beside her.

Laini smield at her grandson, "I really do mean it when I speak of your parents." she sighed, "I never said goodbye to my daughter... I heard the gunfire but I never even founn her body, never got to say goodbye..." she sighed once more, "I thought you should know..."

The buck started walking around when he saw all of the animals rushing by him. 'Congrats Nello.'
