"Because it's true! He thinks he's high and mighty, but all he can catch is a wimpy calf, and look at everyone else! They have full-size buffalo, and they worked together. But he-- he thinks he can do it all himself, but he can't! Where's his humility?"
"Yes, Zuwa, I agree. But you can't say that. He is our future king, after all. You are to stay in the den, and don't come out."

"He said I was snobby and selfish, and a jerk! That little... As soon as I'm king, I'll..."

Delano frowned at the outburst from both Nyembe and Zuwa. As both of them were lead away, Delano let a sigh, knowing that he didn't have to stop a fight. "What's gotten into them?" he asked Tempesta. "Well, I guess it's just them adjusting to having Mheetu and the princess around. New members and all. Stressful." He smiled a bit. "But it will calm down. Eventually."

Delano looked up at the sky, it was getting darker, with the sun already dropping below the horizon. He smiled at Tempesta. "You know, it's right before the night that there are two suns." he told her. He motioned for her to follow him with his head. Delano lead Tempesta to a small hill hew knew that overlooked the lake.

"Look Tempesta, isn't it beautiful?" he asked her. For he had lead her to the hill, and now, with the sun setting westward, the lake water reflected the bright light. Delano smiled. "Two suns." he breathed out.

Alma licked Nyembe "Ok Nyembe stay in the den and don't come out until I say so I don't want you and Zuwa to get in another fight" Alma walked out of the den. "What am I gonna do with this boy he has such a short temper." Alma walked towards the jungle getting a little deeper into it and saw a nice tall tree Alma clawed her way up to the third branch from the ground and laid on the branch relaxing

Mheetu growled slightly as Nyembe backed down and he realized how many came to protect the cub. He noticed Adanna and how she took charge, interested he watched her for a moment. Seeing Vitani was busy with Dyanna, he stepped towards Adanna and bowed his head. "Princess, i'm Mheetu." he said with a slight smile. His mossy green eyes stuided her and she seemed well beautiful in his eyes.

Marrone awoke from the sudden rucus and noticed Alma babying Nyembe, "Hes never going to be a strong King if you baby him." he grumbled to his mate. His old grey eyes looked at Nyembe, he knew how his son bragged. His son wasn't ready for the throne, that much was obvious. He peeked out the den and noticed Mheetu approached Adanna, a thought flickered through his mind. "Rest Nyembe, tomorrow you take Vitani out and show her, her future lands." he ordered.

Tempesta looked to Delano and followed behind him, she stayed close to his tail as they moved up the hill. "Wow, its so beautiful Delano." she whispered. A grin crossed her muzzle as her turqouise eyes flickered in the light from the two suns, it was captivating. She rested on his shoulder, "Today was a exhausting day. But thank you, my night is now better." she spoke as she smiled.

Dyanna watched Tempy follow Delano and she sighed, another day down. Dyanna looked up at Vitani, "Do you have any sisters or brothers?" she asked curiously. She sat by Vitani's side and gazed at the water, she missed her mother.

"My name is Addana, not Princess," she murmured, eyeing him curiously. She had never seen a Pridelander before, or a lion with such light colors, and it was slightly unnerving. Her chocolate brown fur gently blew in the win and her emerald eyes glittered in the sunlight. She was half-listening to her mother and father's conversation, and she - as usual - agreed with Marrone whole-heartedly. She made her thrid mental note of the day to speak with Nyembe.

Alm replied, "Alright then the babying stops right now," Alma then looked at Nyembe,"You need to be less of a show off you will never be a good king if all you do is think of yourself and find yourself some humility, you are no better than anybody else and no body Is any better than you, now go outside and go apologize because you are acting like you are some god." Alma said more sternly even though she still had the temptation to baby Nyembe

"Addana." he corrected himself and nodded. He reclined back to his hinds close to her, the stars were begining to become visible. "Home.."he muttered softly. Realizing he spoke out loud he rubbed the back of his head with his paw and looked at Addana. Her eyes were green, like his own but they seemed to glitter more. He froze for a moment, "Do you know the story of the Great Kings of the Past?" he asked her. After meeting her whole family, he decided Addana was the calm one.

Marrone's grey eyes blinked at Alma's words and he nodded in agreement. As Nyembe stepped out of the den, he used his big paw and pulled Alma close. Nuzzling her neck he smiled, "You my love are truely full of surprises." he chuckled. He let out a sigh and looked to Alma, "We need to get Nyembe ready for the throne, if I feel he cant handle the responsibility he wont be King." he said sternly.

Addana seemed offended. "Do you think that just because I am secondborn that I do not know the story of my ancestors?" Her eyes could have bore holes into Mheetu's forehead if she had any more intensity.

Mheetu stepped back from Addana, noticing her anger bubble. "I uhh..I.." he studdered over his words. "I just thought because you live out here, I didn't know you knew the same stories as I." he muttered sheepishly. He felt bad and looked back at her, "I'm second born, my sister is married to the future King." he told her. His mossy green eyes narrowed at her slightly, "Don't sit there and tell me about being second born." he huffed and stepped away. Laying down in the cold grass under a tree he curled up and relaxed, he was exhausted.

Alma replied," Ok so how do you suppose we get our son ready for this? He seems to think he is all high and mighty and he isn't even king yet." Alma nuzzled Marrone back, "Nyembe needs to understand being royal doesn't mean he gets worshiped, it means he is leading a pride of lions who need him to guide them."
