Garo arrived back. He noticed his son and Karus' daughter were no where close to eachother unlike Nello and the doe who were still talking and he felt bad for his son.

Karus' daughter just looked over at Membo but then looked back. 'I don't feel sorry for him. I mean I know he did it all for his cousin but do I have to feel guilty? Of course not!'

Garo heard her and said, "No, of course you don't have to. Even though he did it for his cousin he still feels guilty. But you haven't done anything."

Karus' daughter jumped as she saw Garo. She thought, 'Oh great now dad is going to come here and tell all of the great things about Membo.' She then said, "I apologize sir but you see I...can't feel anything for him. I apologize if this makes you angry but I am just saying my feelings here out loud."

Garo smiled, "No hard feelings. You haven't done anything you should be quilty about." was it his mind playing tricks on him or did she really seem to be feeling bad about Membo's condition?

Karus' daughter only nodded, "Thank you for understanding. Look I feel bad for Membo because he was forced but I feel bad for myself as well."

Garo said, "I understand why." he was feeling bad for both of them.

Karus' daughter then said, "And I apologize sir but I must say this. Your son is always following me around and it is a little annoying."

Garo said, "That means he cares." he then something that probably had nothing to do with what they were talking about, "I think I should tell you this; I do not regret killing your father."

Karus' daughter just snorted as he called that creature her father, "You call that maniac my father?! The only thing is that he is still alive."
