The buck nodded, "Maybe your opinion will change when you see your daughter for the first time...Nothing was your fault Membo."

Membo said, "Thats not the way her mother sees it." he knew she hated him.

The buck sighed, "Well she has to want what's best for her daughter as well right...I don't think you'll be out of the picture, so to speak."

The buck said, "You'll have to Membo. You know what it is like without a mother. Imagine your daughter going through life without a good father. I sure know what it is like."

Membo said, "And I don't think I can live without a mate who actually cares about me. I mean, I know I don't deserve any of that, but I just don't think I can do this..."

The buck said, "I am sure you will. But you have to care about her too. Membo can you imagine going through life without a father? You have to get rid of what you want or what you think and think of what your daughter needs. She needs a good father."
