Twitching her ears in a curious fashion, Nala remained seated as she spoke once more to the younger lioness.

”Occupied? How so. Did someone take over your den without your permission Laini? If so, you know I will take care of it for you.”

Unaware of her mate’s previous decision, Nala’s caring nature took hold as she relaxed in the tall grass along side her fellow Pride Member.

”I rarely see you around the main area of Pride Rock Laini. Is there anything you’d like to talk about or tell me? It’s not as if I’m trying to pry into your business, but I feel as, being your queen, I should try my hardest to make sure that you feel comfortable and welcome within our pride, so please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help you out. I’m here for you if you need anything Laini.”

Moving in, Nala lightly nuzzled Laini as a display of both acceptance and friendship. She always tried her utmost to ease any troubles that any of her fellow felines might have and despite Laini’s low rank within the Pride, she was no exception to the matter.

==========

Smiling fondly as he listened to his mate’s gentle breathing, mixed with the occasional purr, Kopa felt more at ease as he continued to survey the landscape in front of him. It was obviously a change of pace from what he was used to however, in the back of his mind, this new location somehow felt as if it were home too. Perhaps this was due to the fact that he was close to his precious Rahina, which always made him feel this way, but there was something oddly familiar to this new place as well. From the way Nala had looked at him, it was as though she too, felt this strange connection. Feeling a bit too exhausted himself to think of such matters though, Kopa remained quiet as the day wore on.

==========

Slowly beginning to stir, Kiara opened her eyes and looked around. She hadn’t meant to doze off but being within her mate’s and daughter’s warm embrace, she couldn’t help herself. Yawning quietly, the golden furred princess’ eyes met with her mate’s, who also seemed to be coming to life. Letting a soft purr escape her muzzle, Kiara leaned forward and lightly pressed her muzzle lips against Kovu’s, kissing him lovingly before she spoke.

”Must have dozed off. We’re usually not this lazy, are we Honey?”

Moving herself slightly to free her hind quarters, Kiara stretched as best she could, trying not to disturb her daughter’s rest as she murmured.

”I don’t know about you Honey, but I could use a walk. Feels like my legs are still asleep.”

Leaning down to gently nuzzle Taraji, Kiara whispered quietly to her.

”Come on Sleepy Head. Time to get up. Mommy needs to stretch her legs.”

Cooing softly from the sight of the little cub’s adorable face as she peered up at her, Kiara couldn’t help but feel so attached to their daughter as she slowly started to rise to her paws, giving her mate a loving caress with her fore paw as to encourage him to get up as well.

Laini was not sure if she wanted to talk about it but this really was the first time any lioness asked her about herself.

"Well... king Simba gave my den to this Daxis. He said I should live in some den near those of Princess Kiara and Prince Kovu but...." Laini paused a moment. The name of Kovu had been crossing her lips very heavily and with a cold tone. She did not know if she really should tell Nala how she felt. "... I am not really fond with places where a lot of people go back and forth. Even less if they are outlanders..." Again Laini used a very cold voice for the word "outlanders". It did not really fit to her else so warm and soft voice.

Taraji winked and her crystal eyes looked up tired into the face of Kiara. She yawned and slowly raised to her paws. At her first attempt she sliped with her paw because she was still groggy from her sleep and the exhoustion of the last weeks and fell on her belly again. Even if it looked a bit clumsy with her it looked just cute and sweet.

Taraji smiled with another yawn and this time managed to get on her paws. She swayed a bit back and forth still fighting with a heavy mind that did not want to leave her dreams. Her eyes were only half open and she took the few steps to the paw of Kiara.
After reaching the paw Taraji snuggled against the paw and closed her eyes again. She was near to sleep standing snuggled against Kiaras paw.

The subtle undertones in Laini’s words didn’t go unnoticed by the observant queen as she listened to everything the young lioness was telling her. Frowning from her mate’s actions, Nala did her best to try and resolve the scorn that Laini held towards The Outlanders, as well as her new den switch.

”Oh, I’m sorry to hear that Laini but I’m sure my mate had good reasons for making that choice. I think you’d be better off in that new den though. You’d be closer to the pride and might actually make some friends.” Thinking for a moment, Nala touched upon the subject of The Outlanders as she looked into Laini’s ocean blue eyes. ”Wasn’t your mother Lulu Laini? I remember her being a part of The Hunting Party for a short while, but she stepped down from her position after finding that killing creatures, even just for food and to survive, was too much for her. I can see that gentle nature within you too.” Pausing once more, as Nala’s memory of what had happened to Laini’s mother replayed itself in her mind, as she had been one of the lionesses that had tried to help Lulu before Vitani had ended her life. ”I know how much you must resent The Outlanders that stayed in our pride Laini, but you can’t let that hatred and fear stop you from living your own life. The mistakes of the past will always be there but until you learn to get past them, they will always hold you back from your true potential. I’ve seen the way my mate looks at you Laini. I know that he feels that you have a lot of potential, as do I. Maybe actually confronting your troubles might help.”

Knowing that her subtle suggestion to speak with Vitani had registered with the young lioness, Nala stood up as she politely addressed Laini once again.

”Well, I must go and get everyone some dinner. I hope you will take my words to heart Laini and like I told you, I’m always here to help if you need it. Stay safe Hun.”

Nala gave Laini one last friendly smile before the cream colored queen bounded off towards the direction of the main hunting grounds.

==========

Observing Taraji’s wobbly attempts at standing and feeling her snuggling up against her fore paw, Kiara giggled softly as she leaned down to fuss over the little cub while she waited for her mate to rouse himself. Licking over Taraji’s cute little face while the cub’s eyes were closed, trying to bring their daughter to a more awake state as she gently picked her up by the nape, moving over to where her mate was and lightly placing her down atop his strong, furry back as she spoke.

”Why don’t you try and get Daddy awake Taraji. He’s a bit ticklish near his mane here.” Kiara stated, lightly placing a paw toe upon the spot to which she was referring to.

Laini watched Nala leaving towards the hunting grounds. 'What potential?' she asked herself silently after Nala was out of hearing range.

Laini knew already that she had to get used to the outlanders. It was one thing to know and understand it but a completely different to change the own feelings. She could not help but to freak out around any outlander. Especially near Vitani.

Laini sighed and put her head back on her paws and closed her eyes. The thing she wanted the most at this moment was peace and a nice nap without interruption so that her body could calm down from all the excitement that happened today. She decided that she would think about all this matters regarding the new den and Nalas words later.

Taraji still was very sleepy and so she started snuggling into the thick mane of Kovu at the same moment she was placed atop him. It was nice and warm. Without knowing she touched the area where Kovu was ticklish. Taraji did not really notice because she already got herself ready to sleep again.

As some of you might know LilTiger left the RP. She wrote me a PM today. Because of her actions here and a request from a moderator as well as some players all her posts will be deleted and considered as not being written.

I summerized all the posts of you and cut the scenes that interacted with either of her characters. I hope we can from now on go on playing peacefully.
Amanda beamed at Simba's words. "Gee... thanks." she said, blushing a little. She got up and followed Vitani nimbly toward Pride Rock. When Vitani asked her to tell her what had happened, the young cub's face brightened again. "Okay!" she said excitedly, answering the older lioness' question.
"I was really tired after playing so much today and it was really hot so I went to the waterhole to get a drink but when I came back I saw Daxis sleeping at the entrance of a cave and I didn't want to disturb him because he was big and scary so I tiptoed around him but then I crashed into another bigger lioness and then Daxis woke up and he was really mad and then the bigger lioness tried to back off but Simba came and stopped everything." Amanda said, all in one breath.

Vitani smiled at little Amanda's energy, even as she noted resignedly that she had been right about Daxis being the aggressor in their confrontation. The two made their steady way back towards Pride Rock

Kovu had almost drifted off again without noticing, but then he felt Taraji deposited on his back, and flinched reflexively with a snort of laughter as the little thing tickled him. The slight jerk that went through his body was enough to bounce Taraji a few centimeters into the air like a trampoline, and she landed on the back of his neck and was quickly almost lost in his mane.

Kovu chuckled at this little incident and turned to Kiara who, he noticed, had already been awake and was watching him. "Sowhat do you think we've missed so far today love? I hadn't realized that being a father was such a full time workout" he said with a grin. "Though I expect that Taraji will soon have recovered from her ordeal. It can't be normal that she sleeps for thirty hours at a time, can it?" Kovu had been the lastborn outlander of his generation, so his experience with such young cubs was practically nonexistent.

Kiara smiled happily at her mate and leaned in to give him another affectionate nuzzle as she replied to his comment.

”Hmm, sleeping for thirty hours never seemed to be a problem for you Lazy Bones so I don’t know. Maybe she’ll take after her Daddy.”
Taraji rubbed her eyes and looked towards Kiara. She was kicked awake by hiting Kovus neck after she bounced in the air.

"Good Morning!" the small voice came out of Kovus mane while the cub was fighting with it and tickled Kovu even more with her tries.

Peaking over at the little cub tucked within her mate’s thick mane, Kiara swooned over just how adorable Taraji looked, covered in Kovu’s fur as she replied in a caring voice.

”Good morning Taraji. How did you sleep Cutie? Feeling better after that yummy milk from earlier? Do you need anything, like a drink or bath or something?”

Unsure of what exactly to offer the little cub, Kiara just made a point to mention anything that she thought their daughter might want or need. As she waited for a response from the cute cub, the golden furred lioness began to stretch out her legs, feeling the tug of restlessness beginning to set in as she moved in to give both her mate and daughter tender licks. Leaning in, Kiara whispered into Kovu’s ear.

”I think she really likes you Honey, or at least your mane anyways.”

Giggling with a smile, Kiara turned back to observe their daughter in a motherly fashion, smothering the small cub with loving nuzzles and licks to ensure that she knew she was loved.

Taraji still was a little bit shy about these two but her shyness nearly vanished. At least for Kiara and Kovu.

"Everything...." she said and her paws wer drawing a big circle while Taraji tickled Kovu again. She giggled and smiled so sweet up to Kiara that even stones would have been melted by her smile.

Giggling from Taraji’s enthusiasm towards getting a drink and a bath, Kiara leaned in to nuzzle the adorable cub as she replied in a mushy tone.

”For you Cutie, you can have everything you want.”

Gently picking the little feline up by her nape, Kiara moved herself so that Taraji was resting very comfortably over her fore paws as the golden furred princess laid upon the den floor once more, waiting for her daughter to roll onto her back before she started to bathe the small cub with tender, loving strides of her moist tongue, running it across Taraji’s soft belly fur and around her tiny paws. Up and around her cute little chin and along both of her adorable cheeks. Finding herself purring happily from attending to her daughter’s wants and needs, Kiara found herself lost in the moment, gazing into those crystal orbs of her daughter’s as she continued to thoroughly clean the silky reddish fur of Taraji, making sure to get every inch of the small cub nice and clean, or at least the portion of her that was reachable from the way she was laying. Waiting for Taraji to move onto her belly as she was expecting her to do so she could clean the little cub’s back, Kiara spoke quietly.

”Maybe after your bath, Daddy and I can take you to get a drink. Then you can see how beautiful your new home is Cutie.”

Figuring that there would be no harm in taking a short walk to The Private Waterhole, thinking that it would be a good experience for the curious cub to take in, Kiara waited for a reply from both her mate and daughter as she resumed the enjoyable bath, cleaning Taraji from head to tail, feeling proud with the way she was able to take care of her precious little cub without having any prior experience with raising any cubs of her own.

Taraji giggled and answered Kiaras purr with an own one. Even if her voice was a bit more silent and sweet.

She rolled on her belly after Kiara had bathed it two times already to get a bath on her back as well. She still felt a bit stiff in her legs from her long journey. But at this momnet she really felt happy.

"Will you give me the milk today?" Taraji asked while putting her head into the neck to be able to look up to Kiara with her big crystal eyes. She had not yet really understand that not Kiara was not giving milk.
