Nala's Eyes in TLK

I always thought her eyes were green but had the color change due to the change in environment. I got what they were doing there in TLK... But I couldn't figure it out when her eyes turned blue in TLK2SP.
They made so many mistakes in the sequel...

I thought it was a mistake that Disney made during character design, but I guess not now. If you observe them closely, it kind of hurts your eyes after a while.

Oh, yes. I've just decided to keep her eyes green in my mind no matter what.

Hmm, Nala's eyes really were bright green as a cub, but at the end of TLK they seem to be turquoise (and that's a day scene, right?). I like her blue eyes in SP, they might be "too blue" but they're still beautiful.
My own eye color changed from bright blue to gray, so I can't see why Nala's eyes couldn't change from turquoise to blue (well, it must have happened very quickly...).

mine have changed from blue to half-brown, half-green. so I guess we can say that it was just her eyes changing coloration with age. but I still believe they were always blue based on several day scenes where they are blue JPEG doesn't mess it up.

I like Nala with her blue eyes the best! They match her fur color tone.

I liked Nala's green eyes, but the shade of blue is beautiful. But Disney might have thought since Nala was older in SP, then they should make her eyes blue. But Disney should have watched TLK before making TLK:SP.

Yeah, human eyes often change from brown to green, green to blue or blue to gray. But of course, real lions don't have green or blue eyes, so we don't really know...

But if the cub in the ending of TLK was Kiara and the presentations were the same (which I don't believe, but that's what Disney says), Nala should be the same age in the beginning of SP as she was in the end of TLK... Maybe Kiara had two presentations? Nala had about a week to grow bigger and change her eye color.

well, Disney could pass of that they were the same presentation if they gave Kiara brown ear rims, and kept it that Simba and Nala were standing there with Timon and Pumbaa and then Rafiki brought her out. cause other than that it's the same from a different start point, angles, and style of art than TLK.

I actually mentioned that lions are only supposed to have shades of amber for their eye colors either here, Pride Rock Net, or both. lol, the only way she should have blue eyes is if she had leopard or tiger in her bloodline. of course, the TLK lions don't have lion eyes anways. they don't narrow them to slits, but in circles like humans and cheetahs. and they have eye "whites" which shouldn't be visible in felines as the colored area (I forget the name...iris?) should cover their eyes where we have a white area.
