Aleu silently said to Kirby, "Do we have to be here when it's light outside?"

Kirby shook his head but the dog said, "I have already scouted the area and I saw a wolf not too far from here. Stay here for at least an hour." Suddenly the dogs said, "Wolf?"

Aleu looked at the dogs, "Yes."

The dog said, "Everyone should stay indoors except me that is. I need to look around some more." Suddenly he went out the door. Kirby looked at Aleu, "So what do we do for an hour?"

Aleu looked at Kirby and shook her head, "I don't know." she was growing more and more curious about who the dog was.

Kirby noticed the curious look on her face. "Is everything okay?"

Aleu sighed, "This dog... Isn't it wierd that it looks like he knows us? I never saw him in Nome before and according to the other dogs's reaction they never saw him here either."

Kirby sighed, "But I mean...he's helping us right?"

Aleu said, "I know. I have absolutely no problem with that. But... I just wish I knew who he was... He's being really mysterious..."
