Delano paused, confused by Mheetu's question. "I grew up here." He finally replied rather uncertainly. "Its the only place I know. How can I not like it, if I don't know what other places are like?" He noticed how Mheetu fought with the vines that got caught in his growing mane. Despite wanting to amend with Mheetu, Delano couldn't help but chuckle at the other lion's frustrations. Noticing the Mheetu looked distracted, Delano looked over and saw the other lions getting ready to hunt down some wildebeest.

Mheetu took off to join the hunt, and Delano followed him, shorty after joined by Tempesta as the lions prepared a flanking maneuver on the heard.

Nyembe crouched, ready to get a wildebeest. Without any signs or warnings to the others, he charged toward a calf, ready to sink his teeth into its flesh.

Mheetu followed behind Nyembe and charged towards the wildebeests. He roared scaring them the opposite way causing them to flee from their circle. He watched Nyembe choose a calf and he chased after the calf's mother. He flashed his claws and felt the sharp points slice into the flesh. He used his body weight and pulled the wildebeest to the ground. He sunk his teeth into the beasts neck drawing out the savory red liquid, he held them their until his kill went quiet.

Tempesta looked to Delano and smirked, "Keep up." she commented. Noticing Nyembe and Mheetu make their moves she looked to Maximus and Delano. "Lets go." Feeling the breeze hit her face she inhaled the scent of Mheetu's kill. She saw a rather large female and chased it down her fangs nipping at the beasts hooves. She launched her body and caught the end of the wildebeest. She roared as her side got kicked, she slipped and fell to the ground her claws tearing the beasts flesh as she slipped. She shook her muzzle and looked back up at the beast and began chasing it once more, her body ached. She wasn't going to be showed up by these males, she huffed and tackled into the female once more. She sunk her teeth into the beasts neck, rolling onto the hard ground. She felt the wind get knocked out of her as the beast tumbled with her.

Nyembe, finally killing the calf, looked around. The other four had caught an entire wildebeest, and he... well, all he had was a tiny calf. Hardly enough, even for him. He grumbled, disappointed at himself. "We goi' ho'?" He tried to talk through the animal in his mouth.

Delano spotted a small wildebeest that looked promising and shot at it. Sprinting, he slowly edged closer to the panicking animal, and when he was close enough, jumped at its neck. The wildebeest buckled under his weight and collapsed, sending the two of them crashing into the ground. Delano clamped his jaws hard on the animal's neck and held on tightly, waiting for it to die. Finally, he felt the breathing slow and stop, and he let go of the neck. Retreating, Delano looked at his kill, feeling a mix of emotions rip through him as he realized that he just took down a wildebeest all by himself.

Feeling gitty, Delano set off to find Tempesta to boast of his achievement. He spotted her with another downed wildebeest and trotted over. Seeing the size of her kill, he felt a bit envious of her. "Hey, Temepsta! I got a kill! You won't believe it-" he finally reached her and stopped. While the wildebeest she caught was dead, it was lying on top of her, preventing her from being able to get up. "Tempesta, are you okay?" Delano asked.

Alma laughed and walked over to Marrone "Yes, still clumsy and you're still fast." Alma walked into the den and layed down on her paws.

Mheetu grabbed his beests leg and dragged it towards Nyembe. He nodded to the young Prince, "After you." His muzzle held tight to the leg as he caught up with Delano and Tempesta.

Tempesta looked up at Delano and grumbled, "Help..p". She whinned. She tried to squeeze out from under the wildebeest, her rump got stuck and she slipped to the ground. Her claws dug into the dirt as she tried pulling herseld oce more, her body ached from the kick. She laid on the ground and waited for Delano to help her. "Im stuck." she muttered.


Marrone joined Alma's side and nuzzled her cheek as they watched their Pride. "What do you think of the newcomers?" he asked his grey eyes looking down on his other half.

Delano immediately rushed over to help Tempesta. Grabbing a leg of the wildebeest, he tugged on it, trying to move the large animal off Tempesta. Grunting with effort, he realized that he wasn't strong enough yet to move the wildebeest without hurting Tempesta. He saw Mheetu and Nyembe approaching them. "Hey, can you guys help?" he asked desperately. He then looked at Tempesta. "Everything's going to be fine." He reassured her.

Maximus got his kill, a mother wildebeest. He thanked the great-kings-of-the-past, and dragged the carcass over to it. "Hey guys! I got-" He dropped the kill and ran over to Tempesta. "Tempy! I'll help you, Delano!" He said with wide eyes, running across from Delano. "Lift it, so she can crawl out." Maximus stated, grabbing part of the wildebeest with his large teeth.

Vitani exhaled hard, got up, and started making her way to the beautiful waterfall again. Magnificent birds perched on the tree branches, she halted and stared at the astonishing way the birds move their wings when drifting by. Like a fish swimming elegantly in the waterhole. Blue, red, orange green, purple and yellow wings accompanied the birds, such a pleasing site to see. She shook her head and moved-along without stopping.

Once she got there, she couldn't get her eyes off the waterfall. Water falling from a perfectly shaped edge, as aquamarine as water can get. Flowers of all shapes and sizes bloomed from the rocky cliff, the trees made a perfect circle above the lagoon. Sun shining off the water, glittering elegantly moving with the trees.

Vitani dipped a paw into the beautiful water, another great thing about this lagoon. Temperature was just right. First her leg, then the rest of her curvy body. She sat in the water and looked around, no one followed her. Good! She thought smiling. Her head dipped as she drank the water.
