Simba waited for his cubs to show up. In his mind, he was thinking of what an appropriate punishment would be.

Kopa hissed, upset that their parents had found them so easily. "Come on," he muttered dejectedly to his siblings. "And remember, it was my idea."

Simba continued to wait. When those cubs arrived, he and Nala would discipline them.

Kovu slipped from her grasp, flying back to the Elephant Graveyard. Right in front of the cubs. He growled, but he was nervous. Really nervous. If Simba saw him... Boy, he'd be in trouble.

Kopa spun around to face the cub. "Who are you?" he demanded. "And what are you doing this close to my father's lands?"

Diamante' panicked as she watched Kovu tumble down the rocky hill. She watched the cubs stare at him and she quickly turned around. She made her way down the bone covered mound, her claws sliding and scratching. Her green eyes flashed as she skidded further down and quietly hopped onto the soft earth. She stepped up to the cubs behind Kovu, she gave him a moment to leave his mark. She looked up watching for Simba and Nala. She could hear their voices in the distance.

Chaka quickly scurried down the pile of rocks. "We're doomed" he whispered to himself. In the midst of all the toxic fog he once again saw the shadow of a dark lion, it's eyes glowing green. Soon he caught sight of his brother, sister and another cub with the lioness that had attacked his mother."I'm here guys..." he gasped for air and turned his look to the brown cub and the coal-black lioness. "Kovu?" he asked. Chaka was shocked, how had he known this cub's name? It was the first time they saw eachother. Then he heard Simba and Nala yell. Hurry up... Chaka thought, he was desperate for Kovu to answer before his parents could reach the five.

"How.. how did you know?" Kovu didn't like this situation. "I... look, I've got to go home." He beckoned to Diamante to follow him.

"Where... where's Kovu?" Zira inquired, only just noticing. She growled at the newcomers. "Where's my son?" she said, nervous.

Simba and his mate were getting ever closer. "They better have a good explanation for this..." he said with a snarl.

Nala nodded, "They will be going to bed early everyday." she added.


Diamante' nodded and grabbed Kovu by his scruff, "We must hurry!" she warned. She attempted climbing up the bone mound one more time. Reaching the stop she successfully made her way to the Out lands. When close enough she set Kovu down, "They knew your name..? How?" she asked Kovu softly. They made their way bavk to the outlands.

Monstro looked to Zira and then he looked around, "Kovu..? Where is he?" he snapped. His mustard eyes quickly scanned the empty tree barks and and ant mounds. "Kovu!" he called.
