Aleu smiled, "I told you this would help." the vet looked at the two, "You can't reach him can you?" Aleu looked at the vet with a blank expression.

Kirby laughed, "Yeah it helped as in trading a boulder falling on your leg for a piano."

The vet said, "Well who am I to keep you two apart?" Aleu smiled as it seemed like he was going to let Kirby ago. However that frown soon turned into a smile as she found herself in the cage with Kirby. "Unbelievable."

Kirby laughed, "Now you're going to see how uncomfortable it is in here."

Aleu said, "Well, at least we're here together." the cage was actually bigger than what it appereared to be.

Kirby said, "Yeah now if you don't mind I'm going to need some peace and quiet." Soon he closed his eyes.

Aleu went ahead and lay down as well. The moment reminded her of the night she first met Kirby. She remembered the way he always snored and kept her from falling asleep. Back then it was annoying but now looking back to that moment she found herself smiling.

Soon there was scratching at the door.

The scratching woke Aleu up, but she was in the cage and therefor could not go see who it was.

The scratching kept happening until the claws started to be seen from the inside.
