[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Zira stepped away from the meal, full. "Thanks, Dia... Di... whatever." he said, and began to start snacking. Zira motioned to Monstro and they separated from the other lions. "Monstro... I... I think we should have a fail-safe. Not that Kovu will fail, but... Just in case." she rubbed her tail under his chin seductively.

Simba looked at the stars and then back at Nala. "Wow, even the stars fail to compare to your beauty," he stated.

Nala laid down in the grass and rolled to her back as she looked up at the stars,"Aww..Simba. Remember when we were younger? Running around freely?" she said licking his cheek. She blushed at his comment and snuggled close to him. "Do you think well make it up there?" she asked curiously. She smiled slightly, she loved the stories of the great Kings. "Look how far we've come Simba, we have a home and wonderful cubs." she muttered softly. She enjoyed the breeze and her blue eyes gazed at Simba, "We have a great Pride.." she added.


Diamante' sighed a bit and noticed Zira and Mostro step away from them, her eyes looked down at Kovu. "Welcome.." she said softly. Needing some time to think Diamante' gently stepped away from the out lands, she quietly padded along the border. She gazed up at the stars and she herd a rustle in the bushes behind, Diamante' growled softly and froze unsheathing her claws. She raised her paw when a small rabbit ran out, she exhaled. Diamante' noticed smoke in the air and she stepped forward a little and noticed the ground dropped down. She eyed the grave yard and curiously

Monstro followed Zira away from Kovu and Diamante' and he nodded to her, "I was thinking about that, thats why we need to gather our numbers." he added. "We need to build them stronger and get more, I'm not sure how to get the word out though..." he spoke calmly. Monstro reclined back to his hinds and let out a deep sigh, his mustard colored eyes looked down at Zira. He stared at her smiling slightly, "Any ideas?" he asked.

Simba smiled. "Yes, Nala. I remember those days. We thought the idea of marriage was disgusting, and you and Vitani were always teaming up on me," he said with a slight chuckle. His thoughts then turned to the cubs. "I never expected that we would have three cubs," he continued.

Zira stared at him, a slight sneer on her lips. "Oh. I understand." She said, and briskly left the cave. He was Kovu's step-father, and he didn't want to make him a little half-brother or -sister? She heard a rustle as she ran and paused, extending her claws. She spotted a flash of black and relaxed. Taking a step backward, Zira ran, more confused than ever. Maybe... maybe Monstro wasn't what she should be looking at? There are more lions on the savannah, she thought.

Nala giggled softly, "You were to easy to gang up on!" she said softly. Nala looked up at Simba and smiled, "I love our cubs Simba. They are my world. But When it comes time to pick the heir, i already fear for them.." she said softly. "But there has to be a King.."


Monstro cocked his head to the side as Zira disappeared out of the cave and he sighed. "Females.." he grumbled rolling his eyes. Monstro's ears flattened back as he heard a sound from the other entrance of the cave, he slowly crept to look down it. He noticed a small white furred cub and he blinked his eyes a few times. The large lion approached Folle, "Why did you come here...?" he said standing infront of the small cub. His mustard eyes stared down on her and his first thought was, *Shes weird looking* Monstro chuckled to himself lightly.

Simba sighed. "The picking of our heir is something that I worry about. I don't want the other two to be jealous. I don't want them to become like Scar," he said.

Folle shivered at the large lion. "I-I came looking for a n-new pride." She stuttered, scared of the massive scary-looking lion. "Can I stay here?" The white coloured cub asked asked, staring up with two different coloured eyes. Duke appeared again. "Uuhh, Folle-" He was cut off by her shoving him to the side. The fox rolled back, a white puff of smoke arrived and he disappeared.

Kiara smiled and followed Chaka and Kopa. She noticed her parents haven't came back yet. "Chaka? Kopa? Mother and father haven't came home yet." She paused. "We'll have to be careful where er end up." She finished, tiptoeing through the sleeping den.

Zira caught a strange scent on the wind. A cub. A fail-safe? So what if it wasn't of her blood? She made her way back to the cave, passing Diamante as she did so. As she approached, she saw it easily, as it was white. "Who's this, Monstro?" she asked, looking at the strange cub.

OOC: I'm going to go ahead and post for Regina too since we're doing the Outlanders.

Regina was sore from all of the walking she had done. She was furious that her mate had kicked her out over something as trivial as being unable to have a cub. She then realized that she was entering the Outlands. "Perhaps I'll be able to rest here," she said to herself.
