"Thanks," Kopa replied. Finally, they arrived at home. Everyone was in the den. "Well, they're here. It is time," he said.

Vitani took a deep breath, "Here goes." she looked at her mate, "Do you want to let them know?"

"Yes," Kopa whispered. He then turned to the others. "Father, Mother, everyone, Vitani and I have a major announcement," he began.

Vitani got nervous. She didn't let it show but remained quiet and left the talking to Kopa.

"Vitani is pregnant. We apologize for not telling you sooner, but we were nervous," Kopa said, wondering what his parents were going to think,

Everybody were quiet for a few moments before beginning to talk to one another. Vitani couldn't determine their reactions just by that.

"Well, so far, so good..." Kopa said, waiting for his parents' reactions.

The pride members in the den all came towards the pair with happy faces. They all started talking to them, so many at once that Vitani couldn't understand a word. Simba and Nala sat away from the group with a smile on their faces.

Kopa went to his parents. "I guess your expressions mean that you're not upset with me," he said.

Kopa's parents smiled at him, "Why would we?" of course that they were happy for their son.
