By the trailers I thought it'll be stupid, but then I just went to watch it and it wasn't like I said, I liked the movie very much.[/quote]
This. I love that movie.

Shchindlers List, I thought this was going to be another run of the mill Holocausrt film but it turned out brilliant. I love Amon Goeths character

Well, I had very low expectations for The Hunchback of Notre Dame before I watched it, but ended up loving it.

Also, I had quite low expectations for 2001: A Space Odyssey. Mainly, because critics haven't been very light on it. Often, mainstream crowds don't understand the first 30 minutes of the film, which is about the dawn of man, and the apes stumbling upon the monolith (which is a huge, black, rectangular object), which supposively gives them the power to attack with bones. Possibly one of the greatest scenes is in that part, where one of the apes takes a bone, and starts smashing a pile of elephants bones to ochestra music.

Also, I had a bit of a beef with A Clockwork Orange for quite a while. The first time I ever watched it, I watched the first 5 minutes and turned it off. I thought it was just going to be one of those old 60's films that is hardly likeable. Boy was I wrong. Definately my all time favorite film, now. It just basically defines the way I feel about pretty much everything. I'm not really violent like that, but it's still an amazing movie. :P

You thought Rio was gonna be bad?! ;)

I knew that It was gonna be good ever since I saw the commercials for it and after I saw it for the first time, guess what happened from there. I instinatly fell in love with it and became obsessed with it. It has became my 2nd favorite movie. :)

Before you kill me:
I completely doubted the success of the 3D conversion for The Lion King.
And after seeing it, there is still plenty of room for improvement.

I didn't think Tangled was going to be good, to be honest. But now it's on my favourites list :)

Same! Judging by the trailers it just looked like a stupid Shrek rip-off, I had very low expectations on it until I heard "I See the Light".

Speaking of Shrek, I thought that movie would be really dumb before I saw it, but it still makes me laugh when I watch it years later.
Come death. Come suffering. I will not live in fear. In this fleeting life where time escapes us, the path of least resistance is a slow quiet death. I'd rather burn out than fade away.

300. I thought, oh, this is just another stupid war movie Dad likes. But then I found out who was playing Leonidas and I thought, oh, he's in it, I'll give it a try! I watched it and discovered that I liked it for more than just him.
I am also a big fan of: Phantom of the Opera, High School Musical, Harry Potter, Disney in general, Days of Our Lives, musicals in general, Dr. Seuss in general and the Grinch.
