War Cheetahs 2 Roleplay!

[Arani]

Kara stopped and sniffed the air. Something was off... but what it was, she couldn't quite figure out. "That's odd..." She looked at Kayan, who had stopped and turned to look back at her. "Smell anything... out of the ordinary in the wind?" She aked him, sniffing yet again. It almost smelled like Amani, which wouldn't have made any sense, because it was very uncomon for Amani to venture out to the borders. She only ever went near the Southern border. Kara had never seen her at any other.

Upon hearing what Kara had said, Kayan stopped and sniffed for a moment, before looking at her with a confused expression, "Not really..." maybe she was just being paranoid about Amani lately? Of course that he wasn't going to ask her that because it would only upset her.

[Arani]

Kara put her paw to her forehead. "Of course. You don't know Amani. My bad." She looked at him, worried. "I can smell Amani. She's never once come to this border. The only border I've ever seen her at is the Southern border. So her scent here is really starting to worry me." She looked around again. The scent was getting stronger.

Kayan looked at her, "I don't think we have to worry." if he remembered correctly, then Amani had apologized for her rude behaviour the other day. Amani was probably not used to her being nice.

[Arani]

Kara looked around once more. "Ya. You're probably right. Sorry." She smiled at him. "Shall we keep going?" She asked, walking back to his side. "There's still a lot of border grounds to cover."

Kayan smiled as Kara headed back to his side, "Sure." he was enjoying Kara's company. He probably wouldn't notice if they began walking in circles.

[Arani]

(Sorry I didn't reply back sooner. Been REALLY busy!)

Kara thought for a moment as they continued to walk, then looked at him again. "Um, Kayan? I know I asked this last night, but now seems like a good time to ask this without Amani or the cubs around, so I was wondering... what are you going to do now? Are you going to continue traveling or are you going to stay here?"

Kayan was silent for a few seconds, "Well, I really hope I can get to stay." there was more than one reason to why he didn't want to leave. The main ones were Kara and the fact that he finally had a place to stay at which made sense. Even though he had managed to survive in much worse places, he really didn't want to leave.

[Arani]

Kara smiled. "You can stay. I'd love it if you did stay. It really does get lonely around here." She then broke her gaze and shifted it to the ground. "The only thing I'm concerned about is how Amani and her father will react. I think I can get them to agree to let you stay here, but if they wont let you then..." She paused, trying to think of the "Then". "I don't know what I'll do but I'll do something. They can't keep controlling things the way they are. It's high time someone gave them what they deserve." For that moment, she was angry. She quickly realized what she had just said and sighed. It wasn't like her to get mad at Amani and her father, since they were the ones to take care of her after he father's death, but the more she thought about it the more she wondered about what would happen should Amani turn back to her old state of using fear to control others.

Kayan stared at Kara and blinked a few times, a little surprised atwhat she was saying. "Well, I'm sure that they're not as bad as you made them look just now...." he then remembered that he had already met Amani, "I mean her father."
