[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

"Of course," said Zira, and went out to find Diamanté. "Do you fight well?" she asked.

Mufasa sighed. "Yes, he once did." He paused. "In the days when he was once known as Taka." His voice lowered at Scar's former name. He face frowned. "He was once happy, until he noticed Papa 'Di." He paused. "As you used to call him, Simba." He laughed then went back to his story. "Once he noticed, his once natural green eyes turned electric green. He became friends with young hyena pups, and allowed their families to enter the Pridelands. In my attempt to rid of them, he grabbed a large log and swiped at my legs." He paused, remembering the next bit. "Breaking the first leg it hit." He sighed, lifting up his left paw.

Kiara smirked and padded beside her mother. "Okay!" She sprung into action, spotted her first prey. Her body went low to the ground as she looked through the grass. The prey moved slightly, her back feet launched her towards her prey. Kiara's full body landed on it. "Haha! Mother I got your tail!" She laughed, letting go of Nala's tail.

"I see my first prey!" Kopa joked, bending down to stalk Chaka.

Simba was saddened by the story. "I resolve to treat my cubs equally. I will not repeat Ahadi's mistake," he declared.

Nala jumped as she felt Kiara's paw grab her tail and she laughed softly, "Good job. But lets find something else to pounce on." she joked. Nala nuzzled Kiara softly and ushered the little cub into a correct pouncing position. She smirked, "Do you see Chaka, pounce on him." she whispered. Nala got low in the tall grass with Kiara and gave her instructions; while the two blue eyes girls watched the others quietly. Nala had plans on catching Sarafina off guard and giving her a pouncing of her own.

Sarafina joked and laid in the grass watching Chaka and Kopa play, her green eyes looked behind her as she looked for Nala and Kiara. "Thats funny, they were right here." she mumbled watching the cubs.

Diamante' nodded to Zira, "Yes, im very quick and agile." she responded back. Diamante' looked to Mostro and Zira, "You both stay here i'll catch sum food tonight." she said standing to her paws. Diamante' quickly padded into the greener area of the Pride lands, unknowing the black furred lioness was going to run into some company.

"Good idea Diamante'." he said with a nod. Mostro stepped next to Zira and gave her a soft nuzzle, before sitting beside her. "Your looking well, how was Kovu while I was gone?" he asked curiously.

Simba sighed. "I only hope I can be a proper parent," he said.

"He has improved on his pouncing, but, as you noticed, he still can't remember to be lower to the ground." "I can too remember!" Kovu shouted, and demonstrated, hopping on a rock.

"Hey!" Chaka giggled at his older brother who was trying to pounce him. "Don't even dare Kops!" Chaka had just given Kopa a new nickname, and he thought it was catchy and funny.

"Kops?" Kopa asked, tilting his head to one side in confusion.

Kiara mimicked her mother. She chuckled when she spotted a hurt flightless bird. Her tummy stayed low to the ground, and her back legs, once again, pushed her towards the bird. Paws landing on it's head, snapping its neck. Releasing it from it's pain, the bird died fast in her grasp. A wide smile spread across her face when she picked up the bird. "Hey mom! Look!" She said, putting the bird at her feet. her first kill was a hurt bird. She felt like she did a favour, the bird could have got stepped on by an elephant and died slow instead of fast.

Mufasa looked to Simba. "Treat them the way, you want to be treated." He added. "Be fair between them, or evil will spread." His wise words filled the listening lions ears, most still dumbfounded by what his brother did to his leg. Some lionesses with their own cubs(two or more) looked at both and brought them in for a talk or a hug.
