Vitani smiled, "I know that." she let out a happy sigh and rested her head in her mate's mane.

"Thank you," was all Kopa managed to say.

Vitani moved her head from Kopa's mane and looked at it, "No... Thank you." she smiled and again rested her head in his mane. Her life had a purpose thanks to him.

"Thanks to you, I have a true friend. I was so lonely before I met you," Kopa told her.

Vitani smiled, "Me too. You have no idea what it was like in the outlands."

"And I'm glad we've decided to never go there again," Kopa added.

Vitani sighed, "I'm more glad that we managed to prevent the Pride Lands from turning into such a place."

"Well, the way my father described it, the Pridelands turned into the Outlands under Scar's rule," Kopa said.
