Karus laughed, "I am in your head fool not up in the sky. I didn't use her for anything. She was as oblivious as you. Why don't you check on Membo now. I am sure he is keeping that doe comfy."

( Is that the same doe Membo was friends with as a fawn? I remember that after the fire they were both on the small island so that makes no sense... Mello has just rescued Karus' daughter while Membo was still running through the forest looking for his old friend and her mate. back in a few mins )

Nello just rolled his eyes and started walking again in a random direction. Garo, Membo and Geno were meanwhile still looking for him and Lana. They had split up to find them faster.

Meanwhile, suddenly both the buck and Marena were there. She looked at her father. "Oh daddy we're back." Suddenly she looked around, "Where's Nello?" She again looked at Geno, "Where is he?" Suddenly an unbearable headache struck Nello that would make a deer collapse on the ground. "Do as I say Nello!"

Geno looked at his daughter, "He's with your mother." that was as far as he remembered last time. Nello ignored the headache and tried to stand back up.

Karus laughed, "Now you will go and see Membo at once. Act like you are his friend. Then you will see that doe flirt with him and you will become jealous." Marena smiled and said, "Oh okay. Where is she?"

Nello managed to stand up, barely, "She's your daughter. She was probably a part of your plan all along. I'm not falling for that." That was the point where Geno ran out of excuses, "Yeah, I don't know."
