No need to swear about it... It is comments like those which makes me think that the old rule of not allowing political discussion should not have been changed, state your opinion sensibly or do not at all. Really adding nothing to the conversation.
For one thing, I didn't swear really, I could have been saying something else, but those old enough knew what I meant. And how did my comment make you think that the political rules shouldn't have been changed? Two other people agreed with me, even used my comment in a quote. It was just a simple sentence. I'm sorry it wasn't a long rant like you wrote, a rant that pretty much said what I said but longer. And I was adding something to the conversation because as I said, people agreed with me and used it. Why did you get your knickers in a twist? Seriously.
^ and that ladies and gentlemen is why you never argue with a complete idiot. They just drag you down to their level and "beat" you with their years of experience.
LOL. Knickers are clearly in a complete twist. Why do you call me a complete idiot when I clearly stated things that defended me? Years of experience? Drag you down to my level? What the...? Where on earth did you get that impression from?

You have made it quite obvious that you think you are better than me for no apparent reason. Thanks, you made my day.
LilacVixen - I dont think they can do that, Islamic law prevents them from doing it (it is also the reason why he was buried at sea so quick, you have to be buried within 24 hours of death) I was talking to someone at College about it ^^.
And yes, according to Islamic law, a person needs to be buried within the end of the day they died, but I'm not aware about the sea burial (I'm not saying it's not true). Most likely, the U.S. gave him a proper burial so that radicals will not have another excuse to go and bomb some buildings, and alienate regular Muslims due to neglect of their faith.
I am pretty sure that if the said persons grave is likely to be interfered with (which Bin Ladens, lets face, most likely would) then a burial at sea has to take place. His resting place would not be safe in pretty much any country, and in that circumstance, under Islamic laws he had to be buried at sea. That is what I was told by someone at College, who also said although he is no longer a follower of their laws, was born into it so I am pretty sure he is right.

Pixie - Because you said you did not do something, and then admitted to doing it, in the same line. Also I apologized for that post, so why you feel the need to bring it up again is beyond me, you either did not see that or you dont accept, either way if you have a problem take it up with me via PM, not in public forums thank you.

Nice way not make us U.S. citizens worried, there flip. :x "Oh, sure. I'm not worried. At worst case scenario, it won't kill me either way, so I'm just fine!" 8-)
J.K. I believe it's a bluff because if it wasn't, New York or some other major city would have already been on the front news.
^ lol, conspiracy theory. But if he is dead, who wants to see that guy in a morgue pic? :ehh2:
About releasing the photos: Osama was shot in the head, and unlike in movies (and video games), head-shot wounds are very grew some. Scramble some eggs and paint the stuff red. That will look pretty compared to what people want released. This is why the government doesn't want to release the photos. Not because Osama isn't actually dead.
That all depends on the gun that he was shot with. Some guns will just leave a hole. Some guns will blow off the whole head. But, I think I did hear something about them using some pretty high caliber guns.

Hint: Special forces will not use the guns that will leave a small hole. When you kill someone, you want to maximize the chances of them actually dying (stopping power). Small bullets won't do that. Special forces are not well know for running around with .22s and pistols. They use bigger lead.

They use larger calibre bullets, yes, but I can probably safely say that they used a smaller calibre than .50 cal. Somehow, I doubt they used a desert eagle of that calibre. Maybe a .44? I don't know, maybe less than that...

^ I doubt it would have even been a pistol of any kind, most likely would have had assault riffles.

Yeah, cuz who's gonna walk in with a tiny little pistol, when it's most likely Bin Laden would of had AK-47's and other high power weapons?

They don't want to release the photos because they're going to be brutally abused. Not only will they be completely inappropriately edited and messed with (dead osama memes and the sort), but those photos would assure Osama even more martyrdom in the eyes of the Taliban. Those photos would be worshipped and would light a spark under Al Qaeda... and that's the last thing we need. :3
