I don't think that those were the same crocs Serra ;) But it would be interesting if they were. Good Crocodiles go evil! >:)

Or the crocodiles in IJCWTBK didn't eat Simba and Nala because back then, they respected Mufasa and didn't want to face his, the entire pride's, and every loyal animals' wrath when they found out that they had eaten the prince and his betrothed for lunch. In SP, (IF they were the same crocodiles, which they aren't) they would have lost repect for Simba because his father wasn't around to protect him and he let the entire pridelands starve and die during Scar's reign while he pranced off in Happy-La-La-Land with Timon and Pumbaa so they were hungry, didn't care if Kiara was the Princess, and just wanted a snack.

Now if they aren't the same crocodiles, it's hinted at that everything in the Outlands is there for a reason, since the Outlands is sort of an exile hub, and since they're in Zira's territory one of the ancestors of the IJCWTBK crocs probably did something Ahadi or Mohatu didn't like, one was banished to there, and breeded, creating the group of crocodiles that tried to eat Kiara and Kovu.

And if neither of those 2 are right, then remember that TLK and SP were made by two different studios who probably didn't look at every single detail and compare them like we rabid fans do. Consider it just another mistake by Disney.
