Vitani smiled, "Me too. I'm glad this is all finally behind us."

"So am I. For awhile, I thought Zira would never leave us alone," Kopa replied.

Vitani chuckled, "For a while? I thought she would never get out of my life."

"Well, she's dead now. I think her life is a lesson in why we should never give in to our hatred. That's a lesson I intend to teach to our cubs whenever they come," Kopa said.

Vitani smiled. "I don't doubt that."

"It's one of the most important lessons they'll ever learn," Kopa said.

Vitani then noticed that it was starting to get late, "Should we start going back?"

"Yes. I'm sure they're all wondering what delayed us," Kopa said as he got up.

Vitani smiled and also got up. Spending time with her mate was definitely worth a frown or two though.
