Kali turned from Kopa to look at Vitani. "Well done, Vitani, if you were looking to fail!" he said and began to go after again before Kopa intervened again. Zira glared. "Now it is time to die!" she shouted before leaping in to attack her nephew.

Vitani cursed. She kind of hoped Kali would get knocked out by that, but with her luck, she wasn't surprised. Simba moved aside, hoping to somehow prevent a fight, "Zira, we don't have to do this."

"I will not back down, Simba. I will not rest until you are dead. Scar wills it!" Zira replied.

Simba replied, "I'm trying to think about what's best for everyone. You know that at some point you would have died here if it were for Scar." Vitani continued standing there paniced untill she couldn't stand it any longer. She headed over to her father before digging her claws into his shoulders and violently throwing him off of Kopa, "Get away from him!"

"You dare strike me?!" Kali roared before turning to attack Vitani. Zira glared at Simba. "Scar loved me. He would have never let me die!" she shouted.

Vitani roared back at him and got ready to defend herself. Kopa was in danger, and that got her over all the fears she had. Simba tried to choose his words carefully, "He refused to leave the pridelands and he threatened anyone who would try to leave with death." she was refusing to admit her mistake, but the moment he'll say that to her she wouldn't be able to hold back from attacking any longer.

Kopa looked at Kali. "You'll have to face us together," he stated. "You fool! Scar was right to kill Mufasa. Now if only his hyenas had been smart enough to dispose of you..." Zira replied.

Vitani knew they were running out of time. They had to find a way to get down to the base of Pride Rock and stop the fight. Simba said, "You would have died there and you know it." he hoped it could all end peacefully, "It doesn't have to be like this."

Kopa leapt and pounced Kali to the ground. "Vitani, bite his throat. It's the only way to end the threat of him," he stated.

Vitani hesitated. Was she going to murder another lion? Not to mention that the lion is her own father? Then again, it was either them or him, and they had to get to the base of Priderock to try and avoid further bloodshed, so she had a reason to do it. After another few moments of hesitating, Vitani accepted the fact that it was either them or him, and figured that she would deal with her pangs of conscience later if she got any. She walked closer and dug her teeth into Kali's throat, closing her eyes and trying not to think about it as she did.
