Kali grinned evily. "Your mother is waiting at the base of Pride Rock. She challenges King Simba to battle for the Pridelands," he stated.

Vitani knew that she and Kopa had to do something, but the thought of seeing her mother held her back. "What does she want from me?"

Kali sneered. "She wants you to take your rightful place as the heiress of Scar and help her kill Simba," he said, pure evil gleaming in his eyes.

Vitani frowned, "What makes her think I'll do that?" hasn't her mother understood the clear message that Vitani wanted nothing to do with neither her nor Scar yet?

"Once Simba and his family are dead, you'll have no choice but to rejoin her," Kali stated. Meanwhile, at the base of Pride Rock, Zira was calling out for Simba, cursing Mufasa and the other great kings in the process. "Simba, come and face me!" she roared.

Vitani actually found herself growling at one of the lions she feared most, "I'll never do that!" The thought of helping her mother was so disgusting that she soon forgot about her fear. Simba meanwhile approached Zira as the outlanders and pridelanders came to assist their leaders in case a fight broke out. Simba had no idea what was his father's plan, and it didn't look like he had time to wait and find out.

"Then you will die with the rest of the Pridelanders!" Kali roared. Before he could pounce on and injure Vitani, Kopa jumped and began to fight him. Meanwhile, Zira looked at Simba. "Simba. You showed up," she said.

Vitani wanted to help Kopa, but she was afraid of accidently landing a blow on him instead of Kali. Then again, she had to help him. Simba just stared at Zira with a disgusted look, "Of course I showed up."

"Well, it doesn't matter. By tonight, you and your family will be dead and I will be ruling the Pridelands, with Kali as my king and Vitani as our heiress," Zira said, extremely sure of herself.

Simba didn't know why Zira was so sure that Vitani was still on her said, and to be honest, he didn't really care about what was going on in that maniac's head. He just kept calm and gave a simple answer, "No." Vitani continued waiting for a chance to somehow assist Kopa. At one point Kopa and Kali were off eachother and that was when she came up behind her horrible father and bashed him across his head. Sure, she hated him alot, but she didn't want anyone's blood on her hands and therefor didn't bite his neck.
