The Lion King on Blu-Ray

I just pre-ordered it, didn`t think I could do it in Norway. But it says it will be released in september. Also I don`t care for the two sequels, just a waste of space.

Upon looking at the box set image, it seems there IS a bonus disc.

Saw the trailer from the website. Full-screen on my 1050P computer monitor. I know that the audio will be better (my speakers are bad), but the visuals: AMAZING! Movies are made to be watched in HD: what's the point of hand drawing all the rocks on the ground if you can't see them? Well, now I saw those rocks. And for a lack of a better term, the trailer rocks!

Can't wait until the release.
Start pre-ordering peoples :D
http://www.amazon.com/Two-Disc-Diamond- ... 77&sr=8-13

Oh and Simba's Pride/TLK 1 1/2 are confirmed for blu ray too as part of a box set:
http://www.amazon.com/Lion-King-Trilogy ... 123&sr=1-1

One concerning thing is that it seems there will only be one blu ray disc, not two like Beauty and the Beast among others. Doesn't sound like many special features then.
That trilogy box set is nothing short of epic, does it come out the same day as the TLK Blu Ray?
Still not pre ordering though - I do not like the principal of paying for something ahead of time lol

Yeah, as ugly as the blu ray covers are the box set design is BEAUTIFUL.

As for pre-ordering, I'm still deciding. 25% of the price right off the bat is nice but I'm also thinking that the disney movie club may well have a special edition (like with Beauty and the Beast.)

I may pre-order it on Amazon anyways. I can always cancel before it ships.

So the only way of getting SP on Blu-Ray is to buy the trilogy box set? Or will the sequels be sold separately as well? TLK 1.5 has no business in my movie collection xD I really don't want it lol.

Me neither, but that box is far too sexy to not be on display.
Seriously though, that box could just have the original in and I would still buy it.

I'm a bit skeptical about pre-ordering this, especially regarding the shipping...
