Vitani looked surprised, "There are mice around here? The only place I saw ones were in the outlands." she felt a shiver go through her spine as she mentioned the place.

"Yes, there are mice around here. As cubs, the lionesses used them for pouncing practice," Kopa said, remembering some of the stories he had heard.

Vitani nodded, "Yeah, I remember doing that alot... I mean, if I was lucky to find one." she sighed and looked at Kopa, "A mouse is actually considered to be alot of food in the Outlands."

"I understand. Over here, they hide a lot, on account of the predatory birds and the snakes," Kopa stated.

Vitani said, "There aren't any birds or snakes out there. It's also nothing but one big open space, so the few that did live there didn't have where to hide."

"Well, I'm glad you came here. This place is so much better than the Outlands," Kopa stated.

Vitani smiled, "Me too."

Kopa went into thought once again. "Well, when we do get married, I'm sure it will be a big deal," he stated.

Vitani smiled, "I already can't wait." she pretty much couldn't wait the moment she saw Kopa for the first time.
