Simba/Mufasa Size Difference

from what I can see, for me it just seen that they are almost the same size, I don't see difference, although I have ti agree with the other that Simba isn't a full grow adult so things can change

i reckon simba is just a lil bit smaller than mufassa but as he is bending over its hard to tell

Simba isn't Mufasa o.() I've never expected them to be the same size. Mufasa has always been the mighty King, Simba isn't the same.

In SP, Simba is definatly bigger than he was in TLK, but Mufasa still gives off a more powerful impression.

I think the size difference was done due to several factors:

Simba grew up on a diet of bugs, not meat like other lions.
Mufasa was older than adult Simba in TLK.
They are two different lions, it makes sense that they’re not exactly the same size.

But I think the most likely reason is that Simba would never measure up to Mufasas standard.

Yes. Simba was a young adult lion and why should he be the exact hight as Mufasa?

It's because Simba, although an adult at the end of TLK is still only a YOUNG adult. Mufasa (during Simba's cubhood) is much older than Simba is at the end of the movie. If you notice, Simba is bigger in SP - he's definately "filling out" as he ages (one of the reasons why I am not sure TLK's "baby Fluffy" is NOT Kiara - Simba is by larger at the beginning of SP than h is at the end of TLK). With a proper diet that isn't based soley on bugs, he can grow properly. Although, I would argue that he doesn't carry the same "massive lion gene" that Mufasa seems to - that is, I do not think Simba will ever be as broad and tall as his father. ("Massive lion gene" being a description that is NOT mine - I've seen it used on other sites)

The animator working on Mufasa has said that he exaggerated certain features of Mufasas body to make him look extra big, strong and powerful, since he was the leader of the Pride..
In TLK, Simba is not fully grown (or filled-out) yet, plus he has not grown up on a proper "lion diet" (meat)
So it`s pretty natural that Simba is smaller than Mufasa in TLK.

Simba was Kopa's teen/adultish Father when the 1st movie ended so just look at the picture
