"Well, it's getting late. We should probably go back. We can play again in the morning," Kopa said, beginning to move in the direction of home.

Vitani smiled, "Yeah, you're probably right." she was blushing again but did not notice it this time.

They arrived back at Pride Rock. Nala and the other lionesses had brought down a wildebeest and so it was dinner time. "Well, here's some food," Kopa said.

Vitani hesitated for a moment, before suddenly being nudged closer to the dead animal by Nala, "Go ahead and eat something." Vitani smiled at her kindness and began eating slowly.

Kopa began to eat as well. It was so good. Soon, the whole pride was eating.

Vitani just carried on eating. In the Outlands you were extra lucky if you could get one meal in three days.

Eventually, the wildebeest had been consumed. The little that was left was left for the vultures. Kopa settled in to sleep. "Good night, Vitani," he said.

Vitani smiled as she watched Kopa settle down by his parents. She wasn't jealous though, she was well glad to be away from her mother.

The night passed without incident. Everyone slept peacefully. Kopa woke up and went to go watch the sun rise.

When Vitani woke up she saw that Kopa was already gone. She found him standing at the edge of Pride Rock and looking at the rising sun when she went outside, "You're an early riser." she said once arriving at his side.
