Vitani gulped. She had a bad feeling about this.

Kopa led Vitani into the den. "Mom, Dad, there's someone that wants to talk to you!" he announced.

Vitani was scared of going into the den but followed Kopa inside anyways. Both Simba and Nala looked mostly surprised to see her there.

"Before you say anything, Mom and Dad, I don't think this is a trick. She told me that she left on her own because of what Zira does to her," Kopa explained, wondering what his parents were going to say.

Vitani then went ahead and told them everything that she had told Kopa. Simba thought about it. The cub did seem to be telling the truth, she was born after Scar's death and she wasn't even his daughter. "Well, I guess she could stay here..." Nala smiled.

"Please, Dad? I'll tell you right away if anything unusual happens," Kopa pleaded, his eyes wide with hope.

Upon seeing Kopa's wide eyes, Simba let out a sigh of defeat, "Alright Kopa, she can stay with us..."

"Thanks, Dad!" Kopa said. He then turned to Vitani. "Did you hear that? You can stay with us," he told her.

Vitani smiled, "Thank you sir!" she looked at Kopa with a smile.
