Simba smiled at Nala. "It's going to be great. You and I will now be together forever," he said proudly. He then chuckled. "It seems like only yesterday that we thought the idea of being married was weird," he added.

Nala smiled, "Well it didn't seem that long ago when we were picking on eachother. Or how I always pinned you." she said in a sly tone. Stepping beside Simba, Nala nudged his fluffy mane playfully. "Whenever everyone is ready for the ceremony, we are ready." Nala announed proudly as she stood next to Simba. *Future queen of Priderock* Nala thought to herself, the title and the job was both a huge responsibility. Nala sat proudly along Simba's side, she inhaled the wind as it passed by her and she knew she was ready.


Sarafina smiled at them as she proudly sat next to Shujaa, her forepaw rubbed her belly slowly. There lives only seemed to get better and the future only looked brighter. Secretly Sarafina hoped for a boy in her tummy, but the chances of another girl were rather high.

Shujaa stepped forward. "Well, the agreement that we made was the ceremony would happen when Simba's mane had grown in completely. We want to be sure that you are mature enough to handle the responsibilities of being mates," he explained. He smiled at his daughter. "Oh Nala, how I look forward to seeing you join the royal family," he stated.

Nala nodded to Shujaa and looked at Simba, “Well, looks like we wait until your mane is fully grown.” she said teasingly. Nala glanced out at the horizon and watched the sunset and she stepped over to her mother with a smile. She gently nuzzled her mother’s round belly, hoping the new cub would be born soon. Nala nuzzled Sarafina and made her way into the lion’s den to relax for sleep, so much was happening to the pride.

Sarafina nuzzled Shujaa and her forepaw stayed rubbing her round belly as it got bigger so did Simba’s mane. Both taking turns growing causing the Pride to be in commotion preparing for two ceremonies. Sarafina made her way from the den and her belly was large causing her to do a slow waddle, a small pain went through her and she stopped. “Shujaa…” Sarafina called into the den.

Shujaa came running. "What is it, my love?" he said. He noticed that something seemed to be up. "Are you all right?" he asked.

Sarafina stepped back into the lion’s den and laid to the ground and softly laid on her side, “The cub is coming…” she whispered. Sarafina could feel the pains and the kicking from the cub as she slowly began the birth.


Nala heard the news from the animals and stood outside the lion’s den with Simba and she nuzzled him. “A new cub! I can’t wait to see what the cub looks like, if it’s a boy or girl. I hope it’s a girl.” she added sticking out her tongue. Nala paced back and forth infront of the den and she looked to Simba.

Shujaa never left Sarafina's side. "Be strong, love. Soon, it will be over," he said as he waited for his new cub to come. As any good father would, he worried for Sarafina's safety, but knew that she would probably be fine.

Simba smirked at Nala. "Well, I hope its a boy. It would finally be nice to have another male here besides our dads," he said, waiting for the announcement that the cub had been delivered.

As the birthing finished Sarafina looked at the small cub in her paws and licked it clean. It took her a moment to take in the new cub’s features and she smiled up at Shujaa, “Welcome our new son, Mheetu.” she whispered into the lion’s den. Sarafina inspected the tan cub and she looked into into his green eyes, she smiled. “Young mheetu…” she said nuzzling her cub. Her forepaws kept him wrapped up until it was time for the ceremony and she inspected him closely. “I wonder if he will have your mane color…” she muttered to Shujaa.

Nala heard Sarafina’s soft voice and she quickly made her way into the den and she froze eyeing the small cub between her paws. “Mheetu…” she mumbled coming closer and softly she nuzzled her new little brother. Nala stood beside Simba and rested her head on his shoulder as they watched Shujaa and Sarafina, “It makes you look forward to your cubs someday, Ya know?” she said slightly grining.

Sarafina looked up at Nala, "First you two will be betrothed.." she hissed at them still being nosey.

Shujaa started down at Mheetu. "Oh, my son. Thank you, Sarafina, for taking me away from the life of a rogue and giving me two wonderful cubs," he said proudly.

Simba's eyes went wide at Nala's comment. "Uh, Nala, don't you think it's a bit too early to be talking about our cubs?" he said.

Sarafina smiled at Shujaa and nuzzled him, "Your welcome." she whispered and licked Mheetu cleaning him up before she saw Rafiki make his way into the den. She nuzzled the old monkey and let him scoop Mheetu from her arms, she stood to her paws slowly. [b] "Hello Rafiki, his name is Mheetu." she spoke proudly.


Nala blushed slightly and rolled her blue eyes at Simba, "Its going to happen someday. We are future King and Queen you know, its up to us to keep the Pride going." she said smirking. Meeting Sarafina outside of the den Nala sat beside Simba as they watched Rafiki carry the cub, a smile across her muzzle.

Sarafina looked to Simba, "Oh boy, shes already planning." she joked. "Nala's always been a bit of a dreamer, she always had her head in the clouds."she added. She took her spot next to Shujaa and watched the Ceremony begin.
