Is Sarabi older than Sarafina?

I`ve always assumed Sarabi is older than Sarafina, if just slightly. Sarabis darker fur might not be related to her age at all, but she just seems to be such a mature and wise character, and wisdom comes with age, right?
In any case, my personal opinion is that Sarabi is slightly older than Sarafina, but we might not be talking more than weeks.. I don`t think there are several years between them. I`ve always imagined them being friends since cubhood, so they would have to have grown up together, and therefore born only a short time apart.

I agree. Sarabi would be older by 6 months at the most. I'm quessing maybe...4 weeks? Sarabi just seems older for some reason. I also like the idea of Sarabi and Sarafina being BFFs as cubz :3

I thought she would be at least a year older. I dunno why though. I think it's just their natures (even though I'm basing Sarafina's nature on one line, lol) and their faces. Sarafina has a youthful face, whereas Sarabi looks older.

Sarabi's facial design looks (well to me) for some reason slightly a bit older and wiser where as Sarafina looks more young and stuff lol

Agreed ^^ Also, Sarabi's voice just seems more...aged? Lol, I don't know how to explain it but I just get the sense that Sarabi is older XD

I think Sarabi naturally has features that make her look older. Bigger nose and chin, smaller eyes, and darker fur. That said, I still think she's older than Sarafina, though not by much ^-^

I would say that Sarabi is no older than about one or two years than Sarafina. Don't ask me for proof: it's just my tow cents. I think that Sarabi's design was made to look bigger and older to match Mufasa more.

If I needed an actual reason, then I don't think that Sarabi is much older than Sarafina because Simba and Nala are roughly the same age.

I agree with this completely. And Nala and Simba are both the same age.

I dont think she is much older. I think they where childhood friends which means they where about the same age. Like Simba and Nala.
