((OOC: Woops, didn’t notice I had swapped Vitani and Vah’s posts around :S))
Vah smirked and shook his head in amusement. Sure, he understood why Kiara was worried for him - it must’ve been quite scary for her to see him being thrown off the Wildebeest so violently – but Vah was adamant that Kiara shouldn’t be concerned about him; he could walk, talk, eat, drink…nothing that he normally wouldn’t be able to do. The only thing that was wrong with him at that point in time was the fact that he was feeling slightly ill and dizzy. He could easily cope with it, though and he was sure he would be fine in a few days. ”You know, Kiara...you’re really cute when you’re worried.” Vah remarked nonchalantly. Even though being worried and concerned was something that he didn’t want Kiara to be, she was still beautiful, no matter what.
Vah took a deep breath again and then slowly let it out again, still occasionally getting small surges of pain where his wound was. That was probably to be expected, though. ”And yes, I’m sure that I want to tell you. You’re the only one I will ever trust enough to tell.” Vah stated, smiling happily at Kiara, looking her in the eyes again. He nodded at her and glanced up at the roof of the cave, trying to remember as far back as physically possible. When he knew what he was going to talk about, Vah’s gaze moved to the ground. ”Well, I was born into a relatively small pride. Smaller than most, I think, anyway. I was always singled out and picked on by the other cubs because of the unique white stripe running down my back. The brown rings around my legs…they weren’t as noticeable, but the others quickly caught on. I actually really liked how unique I was, and I’m still proud of those markings to this day.” Vah paused for a while and waited to see if Kiara had anything to say.

Vitani sighed and looked up to the sky, accepting that Fadhili was most probably right. She was glad about this, though, and continued to walk with her friend, not saying anything in return for a while. She occasionally glanced about the surrounding area but couldn’t see anything. Eventually, Vitani spoke up. ”You’re probably right, but I still think there’s something strange about this… Vitani trailed off. She still had her doubts about not being able to find anything, but maybe it was just because they were now in the Pridelands and Vitani thought there would be something to hunt almost everywhere they looked. She didn’t expect it to be this long, but she was used to it by now. Living in the Outlands for your whole life teaches you how to be patient.
